the cloud variables dont seem to work anymore. i had a old clicker project, but nowadays the clicker just shows the amount that the creator of the game has clicked, and no matter whati tried but the cloud variable wont show the largest amount that is saved to the cloud server, which is frustrating

I agree, I released a project with cloud variables today and even when I break my own record, the highest score doesn't update. Scratch Team, if you see this, please fix cloud variables!

The reason Cloud Varis do not work is because they have been consistently down for nearly a year at this point. I can only think of one time in mid october 2025 where they came back for a few days.
If you want to test your cloud vari games or just play one, use Turbowarp.
