Ikkkk, I really dislike this. I'm honestly considering leaving because of this (imagine a certain word here)

Scratch only uses projects shared publicly on the site to train their AI, and this is covered in the updated Terms of Service that users (or their parents) agree to. The goal is to build tools that help kids learn, not to misuse anyone’s art projects. If you have concerns, using contact us might help clarify things.

Scratch remains a family-friendly site focused on helping kids learn coding and creativity. The AI is just a tool built to support users, not replace them, and Scratch follows strict rules to keep the community safe and respectful.

Because I'm pretty sure 90% of scratchers DO NOT WANT AI GETTING TRAINED ON THEIR STUFF

its not training the ai based on your art. its your code. and since all code can be learned and shared and code is stolen anyway, this is no problem .

Yes this is true since the link in the Instructions is from the Scratch Foundation.

Calm down. It isn't training on your art, only your code. All the code on this website is public, regardless of what you do.

It doesn't generate images, make code or do anything else other than being an assistant. Because it doesn't generate images, it won't need to train on sprite costumes or art.
