Hello again!

I know I'm always making announcements and asking for people to join development teams, well, now, I planned on something more relevant and better, a computer operating system, a bit different from BeigeOS!

OpenOS will be a successor to BeigeOS, which was fully discontinued back on October of 2025. It was said that in October-December there was also a possibility that there would be a new OS, a successor to BeigeOS. Well, this is that successor, just better thinked and EVEN more functional! - Weather app, a BETTER settings app, and various other stuff! Sadly, this project will also replaced the non-finished ScratchTab S1, as there is not much help for ScratchTab S1, we have no good design, and I've not been feeling motivated to work on ScratchTab.

OpenOS is made to offer stability, quality, and better utilization for our users, thus to make this be possible, this project will be based in Turbowarp, which is a 3rd party Scratch Player, that runs Scratch projects in Javascript, and allows the use of custom extensions and other stuff.

If you want, we can offer you ScratchTab S1 or BeigeOS, for you to continue working on it, if you would like to.[/b

OpenCon
OpenCon will be related to OpenOS, it will be an event that happens every time once a month for the adding of apps to the app store, where you present an application you made or want to port to it, and we check it, either accept or reject it.

OpenKernel
OpenOS will be running also in an open-source Kernel (pretty much inside Scratch, the same block stuff) called OpenKernel. It will be responsible for checking system configurations, remembering the user in the OS, allow the operating system to function, and etc.

Cool! Progress has already started. OpenOS will also serve for forks of the OS to add stuff, customize, etc, like a template, but OpenOS is a unique version of the OS.

I hope it’s finished. The fact the OS’s that were made in Scratch will soon exist is gonna be groundbreaking!

It is currently not finished as we are searching for a new hosting website other than GitHub due to 2FA.
