Was the remix tree removed
Basically, the remix tree was an old feature from the older days of Scratch that was not linked to in 3.0 (but still accessible). There were a lot of spammers recently that basically made a whole lot of innapropriate spam remixes (among other things), and the inappropriate titles and thumbnails still showed up on the remix tree after their deletion.
The remix tree itself also has a few optimization problems, such as lag with a large amount of remixes, so the ST decided that an old feature that put users at risk of exposing them to bad content wasn't worth keeping up.

Also, the problem is the bots, which they seem to be ignoring in my opinion

They probably could BUT they were probably busy with 4.0 developmentBasically, the remix tree was an old feature from the older days of Scratch that was not linked to in 3.0 (but still accessible). I wrote this whole thing about remix tree and scratch says its inappropriate so you get this msgBecause many spam remixes and bots are happening, so ST decided to remove the remix tree.

Also, it just creates confusion because the user might not know the links are filtered if they see that it's from the Scratch website itself and/or they see something from before the removal that has the remixtree.Basically, the remix tree was an old feature from the older days of Scratch that was not linked to in 3.0 (but still accessible). - Showed inappropriate thumbnails1. This could have been fixed, and why not fix the botting problem instead? This isn't even the first time people have done this bot thing, so why not fix that? It's easy to frame people with the bots, which is what they tried to do with me. Also, the fact that you can create fake teacher accounts should be addressed, as it was part of the problem. They should encourage teacher and student accounts to not use weak passwords too so they don't get password guessed.

2. Even though the tree hadn't been linked since 2.0, that doesn't mean the remixtree can't be reimplemented.
