When you right click in the online editor it brings up the flash settings for a right click such as any flash game. When you are filling the background and it is just a blank space you are filling the fill will not register until you at something such as a circle to the background. As you can see the second is easily avoidable by just after your fill make a same color dot in the filled area. The first problem can be solved by right clicking then clicking on the application switcher/toolbar (the thing at the bottom of the screen that shows what you have open) then going back to the scratch project where the flash right click is gone but the scratch one still remains. (The one that lists duplicate delete ect.)
