Hi! Dbench here. Ever since I joined Scratch, I didn't have Minecraft (now I do though). So I was thinking that someone should make Minecraft, because nobody had a real looking Minecraft on Scratch! So, I am looking for a team of people to make a Free Minecraft Alternative on Scratch. If you are interested, please tell me. I am looking for 3D Animators, 3D Scripters, Coders and Sound Experts. Thank you and please help me remake Minecraft!

I'm afraid I don't think that's possible. There's an amazing, very accurate Minecraft made by @griffpatch here, but thats 2D and lags a lot. There's also a 3D Minecraft-like thing somewhere around Scratch, but it doesn't have anything cool, low resolution, blocks are just cubes of a certain colour and you can only see about 6 blocks in front of you. That lags too. So I don't think it's possible to make a accurate, 3D minecraft on Scratch.

(also, if it's too accurate you could get sued.)

My friends said that the 2D one was not that good. Scratch isn't that powerful a programmer, sorry. You could C++ or Java.

Thank you. I understand that Scratch is web-based and is laggy with it's more advanced projects. But we can still try it and see. Plus we can teach other newer Scratchers how to program in Scratch by making this an educational project. If you would like to help, I am sure this is not a waste of time.

To do this with no lag? Scratch does have its limits.
There are other, more powerful languages to try this in though

Guys. This project isn't supposed to be fast and smooth running. This project is a fun learning experience for newer Scratchers. And anyone can help out. Though, if anyone of you want, we can do different languages, but I want to keep Scratch. Maybe we all could find a website somewhere to tslk about doing it in Unity! I have Blender which is free 3d development software and we could all work together in Unity and Blender. But please, don't talk about how laggy it will be anymore. Thank You.

Sad to see there is no updates along the time. I liked the idea but that port seems so difficult

hey! if you still want some help, i am willing! i used to work on a battle royal project for a bit. and i have been expirementing with 3d. i have not used my acount for a while, that is why all my projects are bad. but i have some good projects in the works. i am almost always online.

PS: I am all for free Minecraft and i am always willing to learn something new especialy for a project. I also now python if needed and have been learning GameMaker recently.
