That is very impressive. Glad to see the remix tree being brought back and restored, or whatever lol

I took the crown. It’s all mine HAHA-

The remix tree cuts off at certain points when there is lots of remixes on one page (a good demo is the google logo by TheAwesomeGuy2016 project, because it is the beginning of a remix chain with 205 remixes with surprisingly little branchs.)
The Scratch remix tree did this too, I'm not sure if there's any way around it.
So, can't you like make certain points visible while keeping the unshared projects invisible?
Yeah, Scratch could've just done that instead of pressing the nuke button.
This stinks! Now I can't even show the unshared projects in the revised remix tree; even without showing unshared ones that were chained, the shared/unshared projects aren't shown here! We should be able to use the old Scratch API (before the 2023 changes) on the revised remix tree, so that unshared projects are shown, albeit with the deleted thumbnail, so you can't access them by clicking on them.

NOTE: This is my first post in Scratch Discussion in a while.

Wait, so is it ACTUALLY possible to use the old Scratch API as a remix tree? If it is, then I'm all ready for it Superflex29.

I don't know. But someday in the future, the Scratch Team would come back to restore the remix tree for older and new fans who were nostalgic for decades, and revert to the old Scratch API so that projects would show a deletion project on the remix tree. I assume it was.

Wow, did you restore original Rеmixtree source code?
Also, I tried to make something like this before I found this awesome thing. (Replace C5 with e)

I looked at the remix tree code from the internet archive, and used a bit of code from treemix

Can you add project names to the projects that you're hovering over?

I can't easily control that in the scratch remix tree viewer, but I added that to the version I created.
Use the dropdown at the top to switch.

I just figured out that using the remixes API you can get the remixes of a project even if the project is unshared. For example, here are the remixes of project ID 1: https://api.scratch.mit.edu/projects/1/remixes/
This could solve the issue of unshared projects cutting off the tree.

This is pretty cool.
However, it doesn't fix the issue because unshared projects still don't show up in the remixes list.

Is there a chance that you could make a suggestion to show only the IDs of unshared remixes of a project in the remixes API? It’s kind of only useful for one purpose, but it might as well be worth it.

Can you edit it so it can show unshared projects? (only for 1-103 before the weekend project)

No, those aren't available through the API
