Remove, or at least greatly raise, the list size limit
no support. if even 1000 scratch projects had over-1-million long lists, that would be greater than 1 billion, which may and most likely will crash scratch.

My main point is that if you are going to raise the limit to 2^32, you might as well just get rid of the limit. The Scratch Team has reasons for not removing the limit, so it needs to be something smaller.That would hurt more advanced scratchers more than it helps.

200,000 is already enough to crash my PC. Removing it, or even changing it by the slightest, would just put the tombstone on 47% of other computers.

I did have an (unshared) drawing project that worked in Scratch 2.0, and broke when the list limit was introduced with 3.0.
The bottom of the image just started missing
I think long lists are a problem only if the list is visible; any image editor that can process an image as large as a screenshot probably uses much longer lists internally.
