Hey! Does anybody actually know what a text based adventure game is? If they do could they advise me of some good ones that I could try out. My favorite one so far would be wizards choice for iPad and iPhone (BAD QUALITY) and the windows phone (GOOD QUALITY). The story line is amazing, its all about being a young wizard that is seeking for fame and glory but he takes on multiple challenges along the way. You have to collect gold, adventure and battle with mana.

I'm making one. And you can also play the Hitchhikers one online at Douglas Adam's website. It does require java, mind and I haven't actually played it. (Involves school computers not having java and having mobile wifi at home for now.)

If you have an iOS device, get lost treasures of infocom. It has a bunch of text-based games on there for a few bucks each and Zork is free.
