Great now can they start giving warnings for mini-modding and stop ignoring my reports.

What do you mean rare? Is cheddargirl not a good mod or something? You have beef with everyone it seems.

1. Have you had experience? I don't think they have beef with everyone.
2. It takes a lot of time sometimes

Agreed, f people are breaking the TOS you can report it but if they are just trying to go around and tell you how you are a horrible person by breaking the rules, then they are waiting everyone time

To me, this reads as a personal view or perhaps a more specific view of what mini-modding is than something shared by the rest of the Scratch Team. There are approaches to “mini-modding” that are “good,” as I've described here earlier.

I like nuance, I generally prefer to work it in rather than excluding other possibilities or views.

I cannot stress enough that if cheddargirl had a problem with anyone they would have been banned long ago.

Assuming that “mini modding” means somebody making up their own rules and “enforcing” them via following them out of the space the rules were put up and threatening to report, I think this is a good suggestion.

how exactly would it be implemented? would it be added to the CG? a moderator announcement?

The switch-up all the time of saying ‘'moderation is hard’' and ‘'they ban quickly’' is so confusing.

By what I mean by “rare” is the first time I see a Scratch Team speak out about something I've had a problem with. And I don't have beef with everyone, I just don't like a lot of people.

Did I say it was a cheddargirl issue? I was making general statement.

How many times do I have to tell this story? I've been on Scratch for 5 years (since 2020). I've sent a total of 15 Contact Us emails by a quick search of my inbox. I've only ever gotten a response once, ONCE! And that response was just a copy-and-paste message that the Scratch Team commonly uses. And when I report messages and content here on Scratch, I end up having to get my friends to spam (not like mass-report, but just report and over and over) report it just to get the Scratch Team to at least look at my reports.

I was talking about the ST as a whole, not cheddargirl.

Does a mini-mod also count as someone directly quoting moderators like Paddle2See's messages?

I've actually experinced something like this before, I had to report an innapropriate trending project. And when that didn't work I used contact us, but they just told me to “use the report button”. Which I had already told them I did, twice in the message.

They did ban the project -two months later I think- but that was extremely dissapointing.

Even with this, I do think that the idea of someone mini modding and moderating rules that don't even matter is rediculous. And just like lot's of other things here, it should be more clear that it's not allowed.

No that's just quoting, although you shouldn't be doing that because that's Paddle's job, not yours.
