Why am I still a new scratcher after a month?

how? I never commented faved remixed followed joined in discussion forums or did anything at all except make 2 projects one of them which only has 1 row of code and the other a platform…and then I got the scratcher invitation…

Usually the only requirement is to be online for 2 weeks but it’s weird right now.

You need to do more than 6 post and you need to comment on other projects and follow people work on projects. And it has nothing to do with your computer but the log in glitch where it logs you out has been a glitch for a while and the scratch team is trying to fix it. also you need to be online actively and actively working on project. Like when I was a new scratcher before I became a scratcher I was active constantly and working on my own project constantly and I follow other's and made posts and liked other's projects. But yea really just be active and do things constatly and you will get it. And you need to make sure your email is verified.

well, yes that kinda is a requirement, but for me to become a scratcher i didnt follow anybody, posted on forums, loved and/or favorited other people's projects. i just posted 12-13 projects… somehow @StarryFoxxo is still a new scratcher yet posting over 200 projects, active on scratch almost everyday and for more than a month, and loving and/or favoriting other people's projects
(why am i not using scratch blocks like i used to)

Yeah but it's likely a bug, so I feel like it would be better to fix so everyone gets Scratcher. This would also reduce the number of contact us requests

lucatschool wrote:

The person I initially was talking to there didn't realize that NT is still used by Windows (most likely thinking NT 4.0 was the last to use NT) and that Windows 10 and 11 are both NT 10.0, so I was just clarifying that.

Dude google is dumb they pulled this fake message out
The age requirement to purchase scratch cards (lottery tickets) is a matter of law and varies by location, but in most places, it is 18 years old. Some locations have different minimum ages, such as 19 or 21.
Purchasing Lottery Scratch Cards
Most US States & UK: The minimum age to purchase lottery tickets, including scratch cards, is 18 years old.
Specific US States:
Nebraska: You must be at least 19 years old.
Arizona & Louisiana: You must be at least 21 years old.
Canada: The age is determined by province, with some setting the limit at 18 and others at 19.
General Rule: It is always best to verify the current minimum age with your official state lottery commission or a licensed local retailer for the most accurate information in your specific location.
Other Information
Gifting & Scratching: While it's illegal to sell to a minor, an adult may be able to legally purchase a ticket as a gift for a minor, and the minor can physically scratch the card. However, the adult typically has to be the one to redeem any significant winnings.
Selling: It is also illegal for a minor to sell lottery tickets, though in some jurisdictions staff aged 16 or 17 can do so if specifically authorized by a responsible person.
Note: The term “scratcher” can also refer to a user on the MIT-developed Scratch coding platform. The platform is designed for ages 8-16, but anyone can create an account and become a “scratcher” by sharing at least two projects and verifying their email.

No, I wasn't active for 2 weeks maybe a few days, long break, not even 2 weeks in a row…

Umm, it's not your computer…not a bug…not a glitch…somehow you get the invitation any time if you do meet the requirements to be a Scratcher.

I think i should stop using scratch on my school PC
School PC info
My School PC > My browser / operating system: Windows 11.0, 24h2 Microsoft edge 142.0.0.0, IT mandadates theese updates
windows 10 explorerpatcher might be in our pcs btw
when [explorerpatcher v] key pressed
DESTROY THE PC
if <(☁ installation) = [allowed]> then
install
end
cant install explorerpatcher and wallpaper is like this
when green flag clicked
forever
switch backdrop to [OS v]
end
yes you are right, @Curators is still a new scratcher, yet creating their acc over 6 years ago, but the reason why i think that they aren't a scratcher is because they dont meet the requirements (sharing at least 2 projects, being active, and stuff like that)

Idk how it works now, but when I became a Scratcher there seemed to be a few requirements:

  • You have to have your email verified
  • You have to have at least 2 projects shared
  • You need to have been active on Scratch for ~2 weeks (mine took 3)
  • You need to engage with the community (eg. comments, liking projects, following accounts)

If this doesn't work, then perhaps the Scratch servers are lagging, or maybe you haven't reached all the requirements.
