Minecraft Topic III: My mom says it's nice!
Is there someone who plays on Bedrock and that, sometimes, very strange things that are not supposed to happen?I don’t know if this counts as it’s since been resolved but whenever I would leave a world with vibrant visuals on (this glitch occurred in the following hours after vibrant visuals released) the loading screen would freeze and distort beyond recognition to weird coloring. I still have some screenshots.

The new game drop for Minecraft, (And the last of the four this year) Mounts of Mayhem, is releasing on December 9!
It has been confirmed that we're doing game drops for the forseeable future, so the 4 game drops this year (Spring to Life, Chase the Skies, The Copper Age, and Mounts of Mayhem all together) could be seen as the yearly update in its entirety.
Here are the features that are getting added!
- Spears are getting added to the game! These are a new type of weapon with two types of attacks, a jab attack (left click) and a charge attack (right click). The Jab attack has a longer attack range than a regular attack with any weapon, and has a cooldown between uses (even in Bedrock). This attack can hit 1.5 blocks farther than a regular attack with a normal weapon (3 blocks) and can attack through non-solid blocks like cobwebs and tall grass. This attack type can't be used too affectively if your opponent is close-up though… There's also the Charge attack. When engaged, the spear will be pointed downward, and when you collide its hitbox with a target, they'll automatically get hit, and damage is dealt based on how fast you are. (I wonder how this could be used for PvP legacy kits… I can see the ice boat duels now…) The amount of damage a spear deals with a charge attack is based on your speed, so things like strength/weakness won't affect its damage. At the beginning of the charge attack, it'll deal the largest amount of damage and knockback, and will be able to dismount people from their mounts. Afterward, you'll get into the “tired” state where you'll deal less attack and knockback, and then it'll get disengaged soon after that, with it only dealing damage without knockback, then the charge attack will finish.
- Some mobs will have a chance of holding the spear when they naturally spawn, like zombies, husks, zombie piglins, and piglins. Depending on your version, some of them will have special behaviors that they wouldn't have with a regular weapon.
- Zombie horses will now spawn naturally, after resting as a spawn egg mob for years. It'll spawn with a zombie rider holding a spear. The zombie horse seems to have the same behavior it's normally had once you've taken care of the rider.
- The Parched will be a new skeleton variant that spawns in the desert. Like the bogged and stray, it'll shoot slower than a normal skeleton, but it's arrows have more damage and the weakness effect. (You could use these to cure zombie villagers early in the game…)
- Camel husks will spawn in the desert at night, and since the camel can hold two riders, the camel husk will have a spear-wielding husk in the front and a parched in the back. Once you take care of the riders, the camel husk will be passive and you can saddle/ride it. The camel husk can be temped to follow you/healed with rabbit's feet.
- The nautilus is a neutral underwater mob that swims around the water looking for pufferfish to attack. You can tame it by feeding it a pufferfish, and attach a saddle on it to ride it. When you ride on a nautilus, your current air bubbles will be sustained, so while you can't get any more air bubbles on it when you're going across the water, you can still go across the ocean without worrying about drowning. The nautilus has a dash ability that you can use in the same way that you get camels and horses to dash/jump. If you take the nautilus out of water too long, then it'll suffocate.
Nautiluses can be healed/lured by using any fish or a bucket of any fish. (Remember, even though you can heal and lure them with any fish only pufferfish will tame them.) Nautiluses can also have a chance of dropping a nautilus shell when killed.
- Nautilus armor has also been added, and can be applied to your nautilus like horse armor to a horse, and can be found in a similar manner as well. (You can find nautilus horse armor in underwater loot chests and buried treasure.)
- The zombie nautilus will spawn at night with a trident-holding drowned rider. Kill the drowned on it, and tame it with pufferfish, then you can ride it yourself. The zombie nautilus won't suffocate on land like its living counterpart, but it will burn in the daylight, so be careful about that. Zombie nautiluses can be healed/lured in the same way that nautiluses can.
- Netherite mount armors are getting added! (This goes with both horse and nautilus armor!) Just apply a netherite upgrade and ingot to diamond horse/nautilus armor like you would with any other diamond gear, and you'll have the netherite version.
Alright, that's pretty much it. Remember, the new game drop is coming on December 9, so be ready when it comes.

…Given microsoft, do you really think they were gonna add something that convinient? If you can't get custom skins, then you're stuck with whatever free skin packs/character creator items are on the marketplace/dressing room unless you shell out money. I'm pretty sure that they don't even tell you in help.minecraft.net that you can upload custom skins to Bedrock at all, so I don't think they'll be cutting off something that would reduce console players' reliance on the marketplace anytime soon.-snip- (quote was about the content and release date for mounts of mayhem)Soooooooooooo where’s Mojang fixing custom skins for bedrock and allowing the ability to transfer custom skins between console and other devices?
These are the same people that don't allow you to upload free add-ons to the marketplace unless it's a special event or brand deal, and they make it so that marketplace producers can only make 2-3 free things overall outside of special event deals and stuff. I don't think they're gonna let you upload your own skins to console because it could cut off profits.

so I updated Minecraft on my iPad and all my worlds are intact :D
I updated it mainly to try out vibrant visuals, but that option is grayed out for me so I searched up how to fix that and went onto the mc subreddit and it turns out some people have that problem too, but for me it’s cuz my current device model isn’t compatible
Vibrant visuals works for iPads 8th gen and newer
mine is literally a 6th gen

Who make mod for Minecraft ?…Could you be clearer with your sentence? It's unclear whether you mean something like “Do you know any popular mod creators?”, or if you're asking something like “Do any of you in this forum make mods?” or “What kinds of people make mods for Minecraft?”
