huh. Now they say the eyes are the windows to the soul, and for me personally, i do stare directly into someone's pupil, but then look away cause it gets awkward.(though doing that also makes it awkward)

Well, to me I just try really hard to find a place to look at without it being awkward. Because yeah, I can't stare at the pupil, I can only look at one of the eyes, and looking at their eyebrows or nose just seems like we're zoning out or paying too much attention to that area of their face which seems really weird. So… I just look around their face like, eyes, eyebrows, nose, mouth, etc. But I sometimes (?) can tell the emotion behind their eyes.

I'm in bed. My mom told me to close my eyes. About to fall asleep, I realized my mom made an error. You can't close your eyes; what you really mean is close your eyelids. I never went to sleep after that night.
