This suggestion might be a bit hard to understand, but it’s mainly a workaround solution to a problem that’s back now that the remix tree is gone.

Sometimes, when there’s a ongoing remix chain, a project in the middle will get unshared, so the remaining projects in the chain get “orphaned” and there’s no way to access them from the main chain. Before the remix tree got removed, the remix tree would bridge these gaps perfectly fine, and you could still access the “orphaned” chains. Now that the remix tree is gone and there’s no plans to bring it back, something like this will definitely help.
Basically, on the remixes page of a project, there should be text in the top right of the box that’s a link to the remixes of remixes page. It could be displayed as a list is projects similar to the remixes page or like a weaker version of the remix tree, but the main thing is that it should show remixes of remixes even if the middle project is unshared.

What about remixes of remixes of remixes? Would those be their own new page or would they fall under the remixes of remixes page? I don't feel as if this is a thing people want enough, or even care about enough, to implant.

I suggested this because it's the only thing I could think of that would solve the orphaned remixes problem other than bringing back the remix tree (which is rejected).

While I've been working on my remix tree recreation I've encountered orphaned remixes a lot where a project in the middle of the chain has since been unshared, breaking the chain.

It would be very helpful to have a workaround.

This can help scratchers who want to get to the end of the remix chain. E.g. The Studio Doors of Numbers part 1 has its first remix entirely cut off from mainline, with this feature, it can help for them to go all the way at the end. It'll also make media partially found..!
