Project not saving, no matter what i do
My browser / operating system: Windows NT 10.0, Chrome 126.0.0.0, No Flash version detectedyou logout of scratch and log in again to fix it
I was trying to give the last touches to my ready-to-be-shared project when the message saying that it could not save appeared. Trying to click the save button over and over again won't do anything. I'm doing my thing on the Brave browser, with Windows 11. I have tried saving my project into computer (the .sb3 file is 6 828 Ko) and then uploading it into the website, but the message appears right away. I also didn't notice anything weird when checking the .zip version of the .sb3 file. I don't want to share an undone project to the website, but I'll be ready for any kind of questions. Could you please help?
Informations for project.json: compressed: 17 Ko uncompressed: 91 Ko
Informations for the most heavy file in the .zip: compressed: 1382 Ko uncompressed: 1837 Ko

Project not saving, no matter what i do
Same is happening to me, On Windows 10, I try to save but I get the same message again and again. I try and press download, create a new project, upload that project again, but It won't stop with the messages, one thing annoying is that everytime I try to start the project (the green flag) the message blocks it and then I cant even chck whats wrong with it!Hello,
Have you tried the following procedure to save projects?
1) Leave the tab with your project open and go to a new tab
2) Go to the Scratch homepage (scratch.mit.edu) and log out
3) Log back in, go to the tab with your project. It should save!
If this doesn't work, be sure to download Scratch for PC. Then, download the project and you should be able to click the green flag and test your project.
Hopefully this helps!
problem is that when i reupload the project, i cant save that project, therefore, this is either outdated, or just doesn't work for the situation.

yeah my project is only 16MB but won't save at allCan you try this in order:
1. Download the project to your computer (I'm assuming you've done this if you know the file size)
2. Make sure that file extensions are shown on your computer.
3. Rename the project and change “.sb3” to “.zip” to convert the project to a “.zip” file (this works because Scratch 2.0 and 3.0 projects are just zip files but renamed)
4. Unzip the file
Each asset (image or sound) must be at most 10MB, and the project.json file must be at most 5MB for the project to be able to save

We think this was resolved on our end, but you will need to take action to see the fix on your end. Please save your project(s) locally by selecting Save to your computer. Then, log out of Scratch by using the Sign Out button on the account settings menu. Finally, log back into Scratch. You should then be able to save your project as normal. Good luck and sorry for the inconvenience.
That did not work at all. I checked the console, and I get the same 3 errors every time I try to save:

I'm not sure what it means, but I did notice that the last 2 errors duplicate for any new asset added (costume, sound, sprite) that the site tries to save (ex. if you added 3 new costumes and 1 sound, you'd get the last two errors 4 times, one for each file.)
Maybe you can make this out to fix the site? I'm working on vectors right now, and I really need this fixed so I can continue later on if I need a break.

It did work before but this seems to be a different cause maybe (it also happened, even if you didn't have any new costumes or anything like that)

This was a different issue. Look at the date of the postDidn't catch that, thanks for telling me. Regardless, that screenshot could still be of use to us, as well as to ST when they fix the bug. (That is, if they even fix it at all.)
