I don't know anything about Sprunki at all, but it looked pretty harmless. I was just curious as to why Scratch doesn't like it.

The original Sprunki is fine. But after the original developer had their Scratch and Blue App accounts hacked, the mods have spawned and they took a darker approach than the original game made by a 15-year-old.

No, the original Sprunki was also somewhat violent. You are right about the creator getting hacked though.
I think it got banned for basically the same reason that FNAF did

Sprunki is a horror game. While it doesn’t immediately pop out as a horror game, there was a way to turn on a horror mode which is completely banned on scratch.

After the original Sprunki, many other people made their own copies which all had horror which forced the scratch team to completely ban Sprunki.

Gore/blood, and when I say this, immense gore/blood. (I think immense means a lot correct me if I’m wrong tho)

It’s not your fault that sprunki is banned, and you don’t have to apologise. You did the right thing reporting that project because of the blood. Because (taking in the fact that it was a sprunki project) there was probably a bunch of gore in that project which is not allowed

1, it’s more of shock horror (it masks itself as cute at first then reveals its horror side later on)
2, the horror part wasn’t the reason it was banned. It was the immense gore in the horror part
3, people made fan versions of sprunki which contained more gore

Fnaf had very tiny parts of gore in the game, the reason it was banned was because of the jumpscares. If you don’t put a jumpscare (or any too scary things) in your game then your fnaf Fan Game is perfectly abiding by scratch rules
Sprunki was gore, the horror theme had mainly gore, most fan games on scratch of sprunki (I’ve seen) also had gore, at the point near it’s banning there was no way to separate the game from gore
