Hi, I’m Vicky.
she/her
Muslim & proud
Certified SWC chaos daemon
Extreme fandom stanner™
And the local menace you never saw coming.
This project is here to celebrate my 5 LONG years of Scratch.
5 YEARS, BRO. I’ve literally been here longer than most phones survive.WARNING: Viewer may experience confusion, secondhand panic, and emotional damage.
This is my Scratch life’s extended chaotic credits — seasoned with burnt mangoes, a lil' arson, and like… seven existential crises.
It *inhale* makes literally no sense.
If you came here for a normal, sane recap?
LMAO. Wrong link.
Go watch a TED Talk or smth.
1st ofc, I have to thank Allah (God) for everything he's given me and my family. I will never be able to thank him for all the blessings he's given us, alhamdulillah. I ask him to ease all our affairs and accept all our duas. Ameen.
Next, I gotta thank my fam — y’all are the best. I could never have made it here without you. Special shoutout to my brothers, who’ve been carrying my Scratch coding skills on their backs since day one, cuz let's be honest: coding is my villain origin story.
SO, SIBLINGS REV HAHAH
3….
2…
1…
@Illyaas4Show my oldest brother who i can never thank enough
@IBI-scrathy my middle brother
and @IdrisShow my clueless younger brother
Are they active? No.
Will they reply? Also no.
Don’t get any ideas :EYES:
To my IRL squad:
You know who you are.
Y’all have kept me sane(ish), supported my chaos, cheer leaded until the very end.
I LOVE Y'ALL!!! <333
And now to all 85 of my followers…
You are all legends.
Every one of you made this journey better.
So here's a loud, sparkly, exploding THANK YOU.
(insert here the names later lol)
We're gonna go in chronological order from oldest to newest.
Thank you @Ohuneneisbrave who i know irl, we used to hate each other, we became friend(ish), u moved away so we don't even speak anymore thanks anyways.
@Below_natural71

˚ ₊ ‧ ꒰ ა ☆ *GUESS THE THEME HAHAHAHAHAHH* // Vicky's Leader App // July 25' ໒ ꒱ ‧ ₊ ˚
1) About Me:
Yo, what’s up! I’m Vicky—your local SWC chaos daemond at your service. *insert courtsey here*
I live in the UTC timezone, proudly repping as a Muslim girl with big dreams and fierce opinions that i like to -peacfully- convey. (Free Palestine ). Somewhere between plot twists and icing sugar, I chase ideas with wild energy and turn the ordinary into something a little more magical.
Creativity is my heartbeat, and I express it in more ways than one. I have way too many hobbies for one lifetime (but who's counting anyway? XD)—writing, painting, drawing, design and IT, baking, crocheting, kicking footballs like a legend, and being part of too many fandoms (join the stanning club :zany: ).
Whether I’m sketching dramatic characters or baking cinnamon rolls at midnight, my hobbies are basically a personality. When it comes to art, I live for it—traditional, canvases, anything I can pour my soul into. As for design and IT, catch me making aesthetic moodboards and Notion pages like it’s a lifestyle. With crocheting, it’s pure therapeutic chaos—nothing like stabbing yarn with a hook until it becomes something cute. In the kitchen, baking is my sweet escape, especially when there’s a whisk involved. On the pitch, I play football like I’ve got plot armour. And when it comes to writing, it moves with the beat of my heart—'cause I wouldn’t be here otherwise. As for stanning? I’m deep in the multiverse of fandoms—music, movies, books—you name it, I probably cried over it at 3am.
So buckle up—'cause I’m not just here to lead, I’m here to slay the house down boots and leave a trail of glitter in my wake. (PERIODT)
2) Experience:
I've participated in 13 camps in total, 4 of them being swc:

– wuc April 25' / leader / fantasy: palacia of forgotten stars
– ce / May 25' / co leader / art: the studio
– UMBC / founder/host / hopefully every in-between session from now on
Let’s talk leadership—aka my villain origin story arc (just kidding… unless?)
Leading Fantasy: The Palacia was an actual fever dream of fun. I've never lead a cabin before so this gave me a lot of experience regarding expectations of a leader. From cooking up the storyline to designing merch and perfecting the aesthetic, it was like crafting a whole fantasy kingdom—and I was the chaos queen ruling it. Getting to bond with campers, set up the cabin, and bring a whole theme to life? 10/10, would do again. I regreted being a bit inactive during this camp as it did not help with progressing the storyline so i learnt to maybe be a bit more prompt with campers in order to get things done. Huge shoutout to Cat and Chocolate for running WUC like pros, and to Toko for being an absolute legend—I owe you endless thank-yous and cookies.
As for UMBC? Oh, bestie, you are not ready. We’ve got ideas. Big ones. I’m buzzing with excitement for what’s to come—and I’m low-key planning to light the whole place up (with creativity and sparkles… maybe a little mayhem too *cue evil hand rub and mischievous smirk*). I've gained a lot of skill from being the sort of founder of this idea as I've had to try and push things along to get it up and running giving me a gauge of what it's like to have to build up something from scratch.
My spark for writing started from a very young age. Being a book worm I'de always wanted to create my own worlds and go on my own adventures. It then grew to joining irl book clubs and even a creative writing group where i got my non-fiction story published at the age of 10! As i grew i developed a writing style: psychological fantasies and more; writing became a means for me to escape my own life and dive into the complexities of others. I began jotting down images from my mind, characters and worlds i'de dreamed up in my head, crafted delicately onto my page. Then came scratch writing camp, a whole new opening an inspiration for my writing, It was an ocean of different writing styles and opportunities to improve my own. I've not published many stories on scratch, around 2-3 peices i am proud to have written myself. I'm always open for new improvement as compared to many i have met, i have very little experience and am hungry for more.
In real life, my BFFs would 100% say I was born to lead. Whether it’s group projects, student council roles, sports competitions, or hosting wild talent shows—I’m always the one stepping up. Not because I have to, but because I love to. I’ve got that natural energy where people look to me when things need organising, hyping up, or just straight-up slaying. I know how to bring a team together, balance opinions, make things fun, and still get the job done like a boss. I’m the one with the vision and the plan—and the drive to make it happen. Call me the alpha, the leader, the one to trust—whatever the title, I wear it well.
3) Cabin Preferences:
I've chosen a theme of Squid Game; there is really 3 cabins i have an idea for, all of them being Squid Game tied to the theme of Squid Game:
Horror Cabin Concept: “All or Nothing”
Inspired by the first season of Squid Game, this cabin dives headfirst into the horror of human desperation and twisted survival. Campers drowning in debt will be mysteriously recruited to participate in a series of “games” — deceptively simple, until the first one begins.
Red light, green light… then bang.
Suddenly, the truth becomes clear: these games aren’t just for fun. They’re a brutal test of morality, trust, and the value of life itself. As the number of survivors dwindles, tension rises. Campers are pushed to their limits, faced with impossible choices: keep playing and risk everything for a life-changing reward, or vote to end the game and walk away—if the others agree.
Every challenge chips away at their sanity. Every alliance may hide betrayal. And every heartbeat is a reminder of the people they left behind… and whether they'll ever make it back.
Are they here to survive—or to discover who they really are in the face of horror?
Thriller Cabin Concept: “The Game Within”
This ain’t your typical scream-fest. Welcome to a world where danger is the playground and thrill is the currency. Inspired by the second season of Squid Game, this cabin twists the idea of high-stakes games into something way more enticing.
It’s not “do or die.” It’s “win or walk away with nothing.”
It’s not about survival. It’s about risking it all for the rush.
And if you don't continue? Lame. Weak.
Campers step into challenges that get bolder and stranger by the round. The games? Absolutely rigged for entertainment. The vibes? Think Thanos-level delusion meets twisted game show. Every camper’s got something to prove, and the scariest part? They’re enjoying it.
Expect chaotic dares, psychological games, and moments where you'll question if you’re still playing… or if the game’s playing you. All under the watchful gaze of that creepy doll—her eyes don’t miss a move.
This cabin isn’t about fear. It’s about that electric feeling in your chest when you choose the chaos anyway.
Welcome to The Game Within—play smart, play savage, and above all… play to feel alive
Dystopian Cabin Concept: “Squid Game: Culling Grounds”
Inspired by the last episode of season 2.
Beneath the surface of the games lies something darker. Not chaos—control. Not thrill—obedience.
In the Culling Grounds, where the games are just a curtain for the real machinery: a regime watches, commands, punishes. The Front Man’s stare isn’t just chilling—it’s systemic. The VIPs whisper and laugh behind gold-plated masks, playing gods while players lose their lives.
But cracks are starting to show.
This cabin drips with dystopian horror. Think: twisted rules, constant surveillance, fake choices. Campers won’t just be trying to win—they’ll be piecing together the rot behind the system. Who are the guards? Why do they follow orders so blindly? And most importantly… what happens when someone decides not to play by the rules?
Expect:
Games that feel like rituals
Propaganda-style announcements
Secret alliances and coded rebellion
Hidden figures watching from above
This isn’t about the prize anymore.
It’s about freedom—or at least the idea of it.
And maybe, just maybe… turning the game on its masters.
Welcome to Squid Game: Culling Grounds.
Where silence is survival—and defiance is destiny.
I'm more than happy to shape and develop the storyline or theme collaboratively with my co-leaders—I'm flexible and love building ideas as a team.
Other than that, some cabins I would not like to lead are: folklore, classics, hi-fi, regency, and westerns—beautiful in their own way, but not quite my taste.
Regarding tctwnw I'd rather not lead it because i enjoy the competitive side of swc.
4) Exceprt:
https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/808229/?page=33#post-8465332
(currently no title lol) inspired by ‘let me down slowly’ by Alec Benjamin
5) Time Dedication
On school days, I should be able to pop in for about 1–2 hours on average, depending on how the day goes. On weekends and holidays popping in for around 5 hours On school days, I should be able to pop in for about 1–2 hours on average, depending on how the day goes. During weekends and holidays, I can usually be around for roughly 5 hours, though that might vary a little. I don’t have any major upcoming commitments, just a few activities where I’d still be able to check in for around 30 minutes to an hour. If anything unexpected comes up, I’ll be sure to let you know at least 2–3 days in advance.
6) Time Management
Time management is something I’ve learnt to value more as I’ve taken on more responsibilities and tried to get a grip on my procrastination. To tell the truth—there are times where I just feel unmotivated or tired of something and don’t get things done as well or as fast as I should. But SWC is genuinely one of my top priorities (don’t worry, life > SWC ), so I don’t think it’ll be an issue. I make timetables and give myself earlier deadlines to avoid last-minute stress. I usually work well under pressure, but if it piles up too much, it can get overwhelming and affect how well I finish things—so I’m trying to get better at pacing myself too. Overall, I think I’ve gotten a lot better at time management than when I first started, or even just last year!
7) Collaboration
Call it social beanie, extrovert, star of the show—whatever label you wanna use, I’m proud to say that working with others is one of my best skills. I’m naturally chatty, open-minded, and pretty easy to get along with. In group settings, I usually end up being the chill in the storm—the one who helps smooth out arguments or bring people back on track when things get messy. I’ve been told I’m relatable and comforting, which makes it easy for people to come to me.
That said, I do have a strong personality, and if someone starts something with me, I won’t lie—I’ll usually have the last word. It’s something I’m working on, but it comes from a place of caring deeply and standing up for what I believe in. Loyalty and honesty are big for me, and I can’t stand betrayal, even in small things. I know I’m not perfect, but I try to grow from every situation and keep things real at the same time.
I’m pretty organised, full of creative ideas, and great at turning team input into something even stronger. I’m also good at distributing tasks fairly and keeping the vibe positive—uplifting the team and making sure we all thriving (SLAYING) and getting the glory we deserve.
8) One Quality
If I had to narrow it down to just one quality, it would be the ability to consistently work hard. Work hard on your group members/campers, work hard on your activities/story line, work hard on being active and constantly welcoming for everyone not just campers but co's. Without hard work and trying your best everything could literally just fall apart and that's why i personally have chosen it as the most important one. Hard work branches out to everything, it's the core to your leadership. If I am chosen to lead a cabin I would implement this by trying my hardest to be active and on top of things for example constantly adding words or totalling points in the main cabin/
9) Cabin Atmosphere
I would like to build an atmosphere of competitiveness through teamwork—maintaining unity whilst rising to the top. I don't want there to be too much pressure on the campers or co's and myself so perhaps racing for a top spot but still being contented if we don't archive 1st place.
10) Check-boxes
a) I will be able to complete both
b) nope! ^^
c) If I knew I was going to be inactive for a few days, I’d make sure to let the team know ahead of time—usually 2 to 3 days in advance. I’d also plan things out before stepping back, like handing out tasks and making sure everyone knows what to do while I’m away. That way, everything keeps running smoothly. If a co-leader was going to be inactive instead, I’d work with them a few days beforehand to divide up the responsibilities between us. As long as there’s good communication and a clear plan, I’m confident we could keep the camp on track.
11) Bonusbeing YOU! <333 Come joi me, let's party togther babes.
Before we start, can I just put it out there that way before I wrote this i'de been planning the dream house before in glee, LOL.This thing gonna EAT, watch: SO, it would be definitely ALL PURPLE with the exception of maybe black, or white. Due to my shifting aesthetics, I would have different rooms with a different style, shade and mood. I would have my own purple lambourghini (ofc it's a DREAMhouse so it would be electric -stop pollution!-) and I would also have my own motorcycle with graffiti and stuff on it. It would be from purple heaven. Ad PUH-LEASE, don't forget I would have a room for each one of my amazing besties, one of them undoubtedly being YOU! <333 Come join me, let's party togther babes.

Without hard work and trying your best everything could literally just fall apart and that's why i personally have chosen it as the most important one. Hard work branches out to everything, it's the core to your leadership. If I am chosen to lead a cabin I would implement this by trying my hardest to be active and on top of things for example constantly adding words or totalling points in the main cabin/9) Cabin Atmosphere
I would like to build an atmosphere of competitiveness through teamwork—maintaining unity whilst rising to the top. I don't want there to be too much pressure on the campers or co's and myself so perhaps racing for a top spot but still being contented if we don't archive 1st place.10) Check-boxes
a) I will be able to complete both
b) nope! ^^
c) If I knew I was going to be inactive for a few days, I’d make sure to let the team know ahead of time—usually 2 to 3 days in advance. I’d also plan things out before stepping back, like handing out tasks and making sure everyone knows what to do while I’m away. That way, everything keeps running smoothly. If a co-leader was going to be inactive instead, I’d work with them a few days beforehand to divide up the responsibilities between us. As long as there’s good communication and a clear plan, I’m confident we could keep the camp on track.11) Bonus

➜ ⬚ 1) About Me
⩇ “And He found you lost and guided you.”
— Qur’an 93:7
⩇ “My voice was forged not for silence, but to echo through halls they never dared enter.”
— Unknown
YO WSP?! If you don’t know me already, I’m Vicky (she/her) — your one and only queen of chaos . Welcome to my leader app! I’m already hyped out of my mind, so brace yourself while I do my pre-victory dance (yes, it comes with weird shapeshifting noises). You'll probably find me working on my latest piece, whilst chanting some random kpop song or trying to mumble funk, convincing my friend to join my latest fandom and spiralling too deep into homework. Yup, that’s me! My variety of hobbies has made me a great multi-tasker who thrives on keeping life busy, colourful, and just a little unpredictable.
Creativity is my heartbeat, and I express it in more ways than one. I’ve collected more hobbies than most people expect, but each one adds something unique to my creativity, the main ones being — writing, reading, art, designing (fashion and graphics), crochet, and stanning my favourite fandoms!
Writing is a hobby that has stuck with me since a very young age, and now is a skill I cherish and cradle – not only is it my source of comfort and cleansing, it's a way for me to make sense from the chaos in my head. A lot of the things I write are vents or rants, but for me the beauty in it is when I edit and polish it into something that beauty shines through; something with a meaning and purpose. The genres of pieces I write with this motivation are usually phycological horror, tragedy or real-fi. Furthermore, writing for me is also a way to create characters, worlds and lore from the ideas I map out before bed. Building these and shaping them into what I want is such a satisfying process I aspire to continue to work on to become a great author. I've always loved exploring new genres for this, but fantasy, dystopian and sci-fi are the genres I have been enjoying writing in for this aspect of my writing journey.
My love for reading also goes hand in hand with my passion for writing. Much like writing, I have been a bookworm since I was young and enjoy delving into worlds of fantasy, dystopia, real-fi and horror. Reading has always been an inspiration for my writing, especially when I read fellow swc'ers work I can't help but be in awe. Moreover, I'm always looking for new book recommendations although I am someone who loves re-reading my faves, that including Six of Crows, Heroes of Olympus, Children of Blood and Bone and more.
I’m endlessly drawn to stories — whether on a page or on a screen — and the worlds they create. My favourite movie is definitely Spiderman Across the spiderverse and it feels like the years are stretching on as I wait for the sequel: Spiderman: Beyond the Spiderverse, so feel free to join me in the wait XD. My favourite series overall would be Arcane (League of Legends) although I love so many more, especially the ones I grew up with like Avatar The last Airbender, and Beyblade Burst. My watch list stretches on and on,(k-dramas being the latest hit (WATCH WEAK HERO CLASS)) but I want to talk a bit about The Unlisted, which actually inspired the theme for this application. This series is one of my all-time favourites; I’ve watched it sooo many times, and each re-watch makes me love it even more. The plot revolves around a group of youth navigating a society where people their age are being secretly mind-controlled. I would recommend it to anyone, and I’d love to chat about it with you! <3
I mostly take on traditional art like bullet journaling, sketching, painting etc. Art for me is a way to channel my creativity into a visual representative of what I’ve been thinking up. I have a wild imagination and being able to actually see what I'm imagining in front of me just makes up for all the effort i put into the actual process.
Art is my creative pathway to visually represent designs I think up and I love expressing my creativity in traditional forms, mainly painting, sketching and I want to pick up bullet journaling again. The most satisfying thing about art for me is to see a finished end piece, reflecting all the work I've put into the piece. My art is usually a very trust-the-process thing, during the start and middle people are like, ‘omg what chaos is she brewing’ but by the end I'd like to say I'd have changed their minds. I am going to be doing art gcse's so I can't wait to see my skills flourish.
Talking of visual representations, crotchet is one of my beloved hobbies. Crotchet is sometime underestimated as ‘boring’ or even mistaken for knitting, calling it for ‘old people’, but you just have to make it intriguing for yourself. Really, the only limit is your imagination and once I get really good at this skill and have lots to show, I would love to start a miny business someday… Maybe when I'm slightly less busy or faster ;'D
Chaos is my style, creativity is my language, and leadership is where I bring it all together.
Beyond my hobbies, my religion is an essential part of my life. Being brought up in a religious Islamic household has taught me to love my Creator (Allah) and love His Messenger, Muhammad (SAW). My faith shapes the way I live — it’s the foundation of the values I hold closest, like honesty, loyalty, and compassion. Because of this, I greatly value the bonds I share with others. I can usually read people well, and it helps me be a trustworthy friend who values deep, genuine connections. No matter how chaotic life gets, I never take real friendships for granted.

➜ ⬚ 2) Experience
I have participated in 15 scratch camps in total, 5 of them being swc, 4 of them co-ordinating/(co)leading.
◈ Leading Fantasy Palacia WUC April 25'
This was my first time leading a scratch camp cabin and it was honestly such a pleasure! My favourite bit was definitely building a mysterious storyline with lore and depth, but I definitely loved creating cabin aesthetics and interacting with the cabins too. This first leading session gave me a lot of first-hand experience of what it's like being on the leadership team but also gave me more motivation to try and continue to lead as it was such an irreplicable experience.
◈ Co-Leading Utopian SWC March 25'
I can confidently say that this was my best experience on scratch like, ever. Just getting accepted for the first time made me so happy, and I have no regrets on choosing Utopian as it was one of the best experiences of my life. Despite many unexpected obstacles coming in the way of pre-session activity, planning for the campers was its own memorable experience. I bonded a lot with my fellow co and leader, and I love how organised we were. A lesson I will definitely take from pre-session planning is if you prepare enough most things will run smoothly even if difficulties are thrown your way, like seriously we had a backup plan and a BACKUP, BACKUP plan, although luckily, we had to use neither. Actually participating in the session was its usual delight, except this time I experienced the joy of watching our enthusiastic campers make memories and complete the activities so fast we were left stunned. XD Overall, I’m so grateful for every moment of this journey. Thank you to everyone who made it so special—I’ll carry these memories with me for a long time.
Irl in terms of writing experience I have been writing since a very young age, even publishing my work in a joint book at the age of 10. Since then, my writing has only grown and discovering swc was the biggest improvement to my writing yet, making me discover my own style and enhance my joy of writing - all of a sudden, my writing was something i could be proud of and share to fellow writers. I'm grateful to swc to everything it's taught me, from the helpful workshops and weeklies, to the swclassic dailies and every swc'ers work i read and was inspired by, each one of you special gems have helped me so much in my writing that I'm even looking at it professionally thanks to swc, so I hope it continues to grow my writing and many others too.
In terms of leadership experience, I've always had a loud, confident leader-like personality. I'm someone everyone loves and feels free to talk to; I avoiding being involved in drama unless I'm resolving it. In primary school I was constantly taking on rolls like prefect, well-being lead and even co-hosting a talent show. In secondary school I have been student council only once, although during that time I'd like to say I did a good job, rallying the class with pep talks, leading the class to victory more than once, and earning our class an unforgettable reputation (a good one XD). So yes, I'd like to say I stepped down from my duty knowing I had had made steered my class to victory and done us proud. We're currently starting a new academic year, and I've been selected as antibullying ambassador. This role means a lot to me as I greatly dislike seeing people bullied; the class selected me because they've seen me settle arguments before and step up to bullying so I can't wait to help people with this new role.

➜ ⬚ 3. Cabin Preffs
I have one cabin theme tied to my idea of The Unlisted, my app being themed also by the young adults Netflix series; the most suitable genre to claim is Dystopian, if not Thriller and Sci-fi also match the theme. I do understand these are highly competitive genres so Biopunk, Conspiracy Fiction and Post-Orwellian Fiction also would work with this theme.
In terms of TCTWNW i would prefer not to lead this cabin as i enjoy the competitive side of swc, but if it comes to co-leading then i'm ok with it <3

➜ ⬚ 6. Time Management
Skill: As I have previously stated, I'm a great multi-tasker and balancer as I do have to juggle a lot of things at once. I work well under pressure and was made for a busy packed lifestyle.
Shortcoming: Although I do work well under pressure, too much pressure and closing deadlines will make me panicky, resulting in work underperformed or not turning out the way I wanted it to.
Skill: I'm good at preventing this by setting earlier deadlines, organising my time and sorting out things beforehand. Even when I do sometimes procrastinate, I never fully miss a deadline, and I know how to prioritize so if it becomes too late I can cut unnecessary things of and get the thing done before time runs out.
Shortcoming: Me meilluere ennemie (my greatest enemy) comes rolling in like a thunderstorm wrecking all my productivity and organization. Yup, it's procrastination. Procrastination is the fire; scrolling and reading are the fuel. Being brutally honest I'd say I'm weakest to procrastination during the weekends and Fridays when I have more time, otherwise I just don't have time, and I know I don't have time so I get things done. But when I do ‘have time’ I could spend hours just reading a book, or staring at the screen in worlds of my own. I admit it.
Skil: BUT! I am actively trying to fight procrastination, by actually sticking to my to-do lists and schedules, breaking tasks into smaller bits and rotating between them so I don't get too sick of any one thing, and generally just reducing my to-do lists to sometimes something more do-able. As I said before, I mostly procrastinate during the weekends so actually putting more tasks on would help, spacing them through the day so I do get breaks but I'm still being productive. Anway this is a journey I'm still on so wish me luck! <333
Shortcoming: I can accidentally take on more than I can actually handle at once. I have difficulty resisting some activities or saying no, and aim really high, but sometimes too high for me to reach. It's like having a bouquet in front of you of all your favourite foods and thinking ‘oh I can have that too and that too’ then u realise you can't finish it all. Maybe you do, but after eating it all you're too full and feal sick. This has previously been one of my big downfalls and basically the shredding of my sleep schedule, although I'm getting a lot better at managing them together or prioritising and dropping things I can't do.
. - ⌗ ⧅ ꕀ
➜ ⬚ 7. Collaboration:
Skills: I genuinely love meeting new people and getting to know different personalities — I’m the type who can strike up a conversation with anyone and make them feel comfortable. I’m sociable and compassionate, so in group settings I often end up being the one people turn to, whether it’s for leadership or just to break the awkward silence. I don’t mind taking the lead on projects or stepping up when something needs to get done, and honestly, I kind of thrive in those moments. For me, collaboration is about making everyone feel included while keeping the vibe positive.
Skills: I'm also the ‘group hyper’ or the positive affirmation vending machine, because everyone needs motivation and everyone needs someone to tell them they're loved, or their work is good. I do this from personal experience, in times when all I needed was just one person to care and no one did. Our generation is so affected by mental health, and another thing I want to do with my cabin is include self-care and affirmation.
Skills: I’m very open-minded, and one of my favourite things to do is take bits of everyone’s ideas and fuse them into something bigger and better. I always try to be fair and inclusive, making sure every voice is heard. From past group leading experience, I’ve learned how important it is to be the person who ‘cools down’ a conflict — I’m the type to listen to both sides, empathize, and find common ground. Honestly, I think one of my strongest collaboration skills is being a good listener, because it allows me to understand what people actually mean, not just what they say.
Shortcomings: I’d say my energy can be… a lot. I’m loud, enthusiastic, and sometimes that intensity can overwhelm quieter people. It’s something I’ve been learning to balance — knowing when to take the lead and when to step back. My chaotic aura is what shapes me as a person, but I do understand that it can be both a strength and a weakness: it makes me bold, but it also means I need to stay mindful of balance. To be honest I am told I'm ‘chill’ but sometimes I just get a little too loud.
Shortcomings: I can be a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to projects I care about. Sometimes I get caught up in the tiny details, which can slow me down or make me feel like nothing is ever good enough. In collaboration, I’ve been learning to balance this by trusting my team and reminding myself that done together is better than done alone. Perfectionism pushes me to give my best, but I’m working on not letting it hold me (or others) back.
Assets I bring to a leading team:
Graphic design & aesthetics
Organisation → I’m good at structuring plans, keeping deadlines in check and generally just organising things in a clean aesthetic way.
Idea generation → My brain runs on chaos + creativity, so I’m always throwing out fresh concepts and ways to improve projects.
Communication → I’m approachable, a good listener, and able to bring together different perspectives.
Adaptability → I thrive under pressure and can adjust quickly if plans need to change.
Team energy → I bring enthusiasm and motivation, making work feel exciting rather than stressful.

➜ ⬚ 8. Reasons for applying:
> I came to swc not knowing a thing, I had seen the script misfits around and thought it was some sort of roleplay and really wanted to join. When I signed up and didn't understand a thing, I thought it wasn't the right thing for me, as I was confused and lost. Yet, everyone was so nice and welcoming and once I stuck around for a little longer, one session with script theatron was all it took for me to fall in love with swc. I signed up for another session and another and two more! Here I am now, five sessions later, applying to be leader so that campers fall in love with swc in the same way. So they see swc as the beautiful, chaotic and warming place I do, a place were I can find comfort and find people who face the same things as me, and even if they don't, they try to help you anyways. It's not very easy on scratch to find an active and non-toxic community: I want to keep swc as the drama-free, comforting and open space where anyone, writer - non writer, fiction - nonfiction, mangoes - no mangoes, can feel safe, listened to and loved.
> In every session I have been a camper, and the one in which I have been a co, I have been in awe of the amazing work that leaders do. Watching from the view of a camper has been truly inspiring and I only become more in awe as the sessions go by. THe memories and cabins they create has always been a wonder to me and last session as co really opened my eyes. Liv was extremly organised and disciplin, but still caring and friendly. I saw true leadership up close and that greatly inspired me to try my best to create experiences just as inspiring for others, and try my best to make a cabin that campers will never be able to forget.
> I want to create a cabin that not only the cabin treasure, but a legendary cabin that everyone camp-wide remembers. For example I've never forgotten Poetry palace, Bi-Fi minion mania and Fantasy chocolate factory all from July 24', cabins that have always stuck with me and made that session of swc unforgettable. My idea of a ‘The Unlisted’ themed cabin has kept me up awake at night, dreaming and imaganing. THe Unlisted is such an underrated show that I would love to introduce to swc to share the joy of one of my favourite show to others. It has a great plot- And I should proably stop talking before i accidentally drop spoilers XDD.

Ahh, it's autumn again! Since I live in the UK, it's basically like welcoming rain everyday again XD I would probably say park walks with my mum if not for the fact that it rains quite often so it's not a consistent activity. So, my favourite autumn activity would be when our entire outside-school friend group gathers up out that one friends house and we just bake together, watch films, karaoke and fun indoor activities!

It has a great plot- And I should proably stop talking before i accidentally drop spoilers XDD.

a) I will be available to help add points consistently in the main cabin X
I’m willing to share a promotional project for swc. X
b) none! ^^
c) If I knew I was going to be inactive for a few days, I’d make sure to let the team know ahead of time—usually 2 to 3 days in advance.

➜ ⬚ 11. Bonus Question

Vicky's SDC Leader App
#1 About me
Hey! My name is Vicky. I go by she/her pronouns, and I'm British, so I live in the wonderful UTC time zone. I'm an ambivert who loves to live a busy life, with quite a few hobbies and commitments keeping life fun and colourful all the time. I'm also Muslim, and my faith is a big part of how I live my life; wearing modest clothing, being kind to everyone and trying as much as I can to live the life Allah (God) wants me to.
The term ‘free time’ doesn't exist to me; you'll find me speed running some assignment, planning my next writing project, organising my (hopefully) future crotchet business or maybe just being unhinged on scratch. Aside from ‘work’ some hobbies I like to indulge in are: reading, writing, drawing, crocheting, baking and more. These all for me are a form of relaxation that I take pleasure from and like to make time for so I can properly be enticed in. Personality wise I'm pretty outgoing, and I'm pretty good at socialising, even if I don't always want to. I'm very funny and chaotic once you get to know me and my quirky, loud, purple-obsessed self is what makes me, me. Overall I'm friendly, talkative once comfortable, a little dramatic (in a fun way), and always up for deep convos or unhinged theories at 2am.
#2 Experience
I've participated in around 17 scratch camps in total, 2 of them being in a position of (co)leading and around 3 of them being SDC. I've had so much fun in SDC previously and would love to be a bigger part of it this session. Moreover, in my two sessions experience of (co)leading I acquired many skills and found out what it was like to actually be in the role of a leader. The first time was leading a cabin for a smaller camp called WUC. I did not have a co-leader but i did collaborate with the other leaders in terms of helping with cabin storylines and they were helping me properly settle into the role of a leader. It was such a fun and eye-opening experience in which my favourite bit was designing the cabin and its storyline. If I were to go back and change something it would be for me to be more active and interactive with the campers. The second time i co/lead was for a bigger camp: SWC. I co-lead the Utopian cabin with Sunny and Live and it was one of the best experiences I've had on scratch. It was so fun to collaborate and get to know Liv and Sunny on a deeper level and work together with each of our skills and shortcomings fitting together to make a fabulous team. We were really satisfied with the results from the session, the enthusiasm from the campers and everything just went so smoothly.
#3 Dorm Preferences
Eclipse Atelier - A theme derived from the school Shadow High from the animation show ‘Rainbow High’. Shadow High is a gloss and glam fashion school with a more edgy, mysterious vibe and a dark tones aesthetic. I want to go of this and create a studio with just as stunning visuals and a ‘we’re the odd ones out and we love it' motto. Just like shadow high is i want us to be competitive and unify under one cause: to beat up our enemies /friendly.
#4 Why me?
I think I’d make a great leader because I already have hands-on experience both with Scratch and with design. I’ve led projects and helped others on Scratch before, so I’m used to organising, communicating and keeping a group motivated. I also have a background in graphic design with my aes background and future aes acc, so I can bring a creative eye to the cabin’s visuals, aesthetics and branding. I’m reliable, I love teamwork, and I’m genuinely excited to make the cabin fun, organised and stylish. I bring the right balance of chaos and discipline and I'm very enthusiastic about this job!
#5 Time Dedication
Realistically I can dedicate around 30-45 mins on a week day and a few hours on a weekend in October, some of November and December. During half of November I'll be really busy with exams and less active during that time as I must prioritise my studies.
