Yep, that's literally all you have to do. Pop up Bedrock Edition in Survival or Creative mode and place a copper golem statue and you will receive your cape sometime between now and the end of October.
Note that this method is for getting the cape in BEDROCK ONLY, although placing a copper golem statue in Bedrock will not hinder you from redeeming codes for Java and Bedrock from the other two methods.

Well, to be fair, the method for getting it on bedrock is fairly easy and the majority of the current Minecraft playerbase are going to be on there.

I know that making it easier to get it on bedrock than java isn't that great but that technically means they aren't locking the cape to the majority of players.
(also, what's stopping you from making a throwaway account on those platforms just to get the cape)



also please snip large forum posts it uses up tons of space when you do so if you could edit your post to snip it that would be great

Because the capes are distributed a bit slowly with this method, you should have it sometime between now and October 30th.

naw I meant why havent I done the stuff to get it since it is pretty easy

Quick note that the easy Copper statue placing method will only get you the cape to use on Bedrock edition. As in, it won't be usable on java unless you do watch time quests.

I’m going to be honest, I got a great idea.

Ok so you know how on Halloween there are zombies and skeletons with pumpkins on their heads

And you know how I like talking about jockeys,

Hear me out on this, wither skeleton jockeys

So basically it’s a wither skeleton with a pumpkin on its head and full enchanted iron armour that rides a skeleton horse with orange leather horse armour on it. it would function like a skeleton horse trap in a way but only 1 or 2 would spawn (a full group of them would be too powerful)

They do spawn in the overworld aswell

It's made by Noxcrew (the same people that help work on the MCC Island server for Java), so it's a good bet that the server's gonna be one of their good ones.
It seems to be a progressive rougelike that's somewhat based on the MCC Island game “Sands of Time”, with 3d weapons and animations and stuff that remind me a of Wynncraft a bit.

The server that practically bought itself onto the Bedrock featured server list by buying the IP of the featured server InPVP and rebranding the entire thing while adding microtransactions and pay-to-win stuff that slowly transformed into pay-to-play stuff along with paying to win, then they removed most of their games that people payed money for and rebranded the server again into two pay-to-win smps (one lifesteal, the other with claims) along with “Grow a Farm” which is probably exacty what you're thinking of. They even got youtubers like Dream to have sponsored admin abuse events. Pretty scummy alright, but the entire time they somehow always had enough players to stay on and gain a large profit, and now that there's a pay-to-win lifesteal SMP on bedrock (on a Java geyser server) that, when you think about it, is actually pretty similar to pay-to-win lifesteals on Java, I don't think they're gonna stop anytime soon.

The EULA should ban pay-to-win servers. Pay-to-play is fine - pay-to-win is just boring.

Well, that would basically end a good amount of servers with monetization since they usually have some sort of paid extra boost that you can get. It can also be hard to distinguish in some cases what is counted as stuff you can already get but you get it faster or actual pay-to-win stuff.

Technically, they do have a policy about banning paid lootboxes with pay-to-win loot in them or banning things that give competitive advantages that aren't fun but there are a bunch of exceptions and loopholes with it that they're basically allowed.

I do agree that some changes need to be made, but it's also important to distinguish between individual cases.
