How exactly do I make @griffpatch 's raycasting tutorial have functioning stairs?Well… its not designed for layers. it only casts rays hitting one map. it is possible to add more layers just not simple. the rays aren't 3D the rendering is a simple method of 3D walls.

How exactly do I make @griffpatch 's raycasting tutorial have functioning stairs? You can add multiple sprites for the map, each for a certain height, change the rendering and use Mode7 for the surfaces

How exactly do I make @griffpatch 's raycasting tutorial have functioning stairs? Please don't, if you're ambitious enough to want different heights then start list raycasting. it's much, MUCH more fast and can have heights easily, and even slopes!

guys guys is it possible to rear a game engine like or closed to unreal engine on scratch ?
very good question. I am not an extremely learned 3d coder on scratch yet, I'm just figuring it out still, but it could be possible if you take a funnyanimatorjimtv game, where he often does complete editors inside of his projects, and define an on screen input for the editor. However, that's just for maps and objects. Characters you might have to find a new engine to run them separately, but even then they would all look the same, no skins. Not really like unreal, but you could get close.
