I have recently looked through a discussion talking about not having a drop down for random/previous/next costume or backdrop in the script page. I don't know why people say this because there is one and I have even checked myself. I've looked at the most recent post on that discussion and it was only a few days ago. Yes, I have a Scratch extensions app on the computer I use, but I checked on my tablet and I know that feature has been there for a while.

Any other forums bring up this topic? And why hasn't anyone seen this?

Backdrops do have the next/previous/random backdrop options in their dropdown menu. Costumes don't have them (unless you use extensions or manually use it with a join block or something (except for random costume, that still doesn't work)).

I don't see any drop down in the next costume block. There's never been one as far as I know.

Yea, the topic creator might have been thinking of something else, or could be misremembering.

I don't remember random costume working when I did that.

If I remember correctly, costumes only have a dropdown for which costume NAME to switch to. Backdrops have one like that, and one for next/previous.

There's also “random” for backdrops in Scratch 3.0.

I don't think a drop down for this exists.

Oh, yeah. I was a little confused about that. On the computer I use at home I do have it on costumes cuz I have an extension. But backdrops do officially have them. Why only on backdrops?
