Can you try get lots of fonts, maybe the ability to load into the editor extra fonts, but i would love a ‘retro fonts set’ like the original scratch fonts, really pixelated, but still readable with a theme

So is that why all the text sprites are messed up?????Are you still seeing problems? Make sure you are running V349 of the project editor - it should fix the text size problems we accidentally created - see this topic for more information.
Oh finally!Yes, 1.4 made use of the fonts in your computer system - but that sometimes created issues when the project was run on a system that didn't have those fonts. So in 2.0, the fonts are stored in the flash file that contains the project editor - so it should look the same no matter what computer runs it. But because the fonts are stored with the project editor, we can't store a whole lot of them or the start-up time to run a project will get really long. We might add a couple of more fonts latter - but we do have to watch the size of the file.yep this is good news! but why only ‘5’ fonts?

Hi! I'm going to cut right to it:
The new message service is neat but it lacks a lot of customization abilities.
Every scratcher has different things they want to be notified about and right now there's no way to customize what messages you get and don't get.
I'm suggesting an option-list in the account settings with boxes to fill/not fill in to choose what you want to get notified about.
Here's what I think would be great to customize:
Receive message when:
• Someone follows me
• Someone favorites any of my projects
• Someone loves any of my projects
• Someone posts a comment on any of my projects
• Someone posts a comment on my profile
• I receive an invitation to curate a Studio
• Someone posts a comment on any of the studios I curate
• There is an activity in any of the Studios I curate
Feel free to add more if you like
This feature would be so helpful for me and many others so please consider it in an update.
Thanks.

Dear Scratch Developers,
Could you please make Scratch able to upload AAC audio files, not just MPEG files because I have some AAC file music that I want to use but I can't convert it into a MPEG file to upload anymore on iTunes so it would be a big help if you could reprogram Scratch to be able to upload AAC audio files.
Thanks,
ilpuppet

in 1.4 there were many, but itz really good news!
You could start in some months, when the downloadable version is out and we have cloud lists and oter important stuff, a font collection-topic. People have one week to post their 5 favorite fonts. After this week you (the ST) check the fonts and start a poll with the best fonts. Then the 5 fonts with the most votes come to Scratch

But the font-themes shouldn't be doubled. So if we have one medievil looking font, we do not ned a second.
Another Question:
Will cloud-lists be released before or after the download-version of Scratch?

Thanks for working on the fonts!! One problem still persists (important for the many german-speaking Scratchers here). Special characters, most notably the Umlaute (ä, ö, ü) don't work in the text. I would assume that it's the same with special characters in other languages.
