i hate lightspeed filter even though it has saved me from seeing some questionable stuffTbh lightspeed kinda sucks CUZ IT SUSPENDS UR INTERNET
EDIT: LightSpeed redirected me to a blocked website. It's a scam

My school just invested in the worst thing. WHY DO WE NEED CLASSROOM.CLOUD WHYYY. well anyway it doesn't connect to the server soooooo no filter using classroom.cloud. they also just invested in ublock but u can just open the exetension and press the power switch. AND THEY HAVE THE WORST THING EVER. LIGHTSPEED. WHYYYYYY. IT BLOCKS EVERYTHING

they saw anglebrackets and monospaced fonts and indentation and got scared youd hack the mainframe, i reckon. lolsnipThen why would they block View Source???
they also just invested in ublock but u can just open the exetension and press the power switch.

- ublock is an adblocker, not a webfilter. youre only screwing yourself over by disabling it!

Yea there is other filters but it blocks scratch and we have the use the offline editor(#1883)I think their school added some custom filters to block other sites, but I doubt the school IT is that dumb to do that.they also just invested in ublock but u can just open the exetension and press the power switch.

I just went back to school and the WI-Fi doesn't work for anyone. AND THEIR IT GUY LEFT THEM. So, please don't tell my teacher but… I used the neighbours WIFI. But to be honest filtering should work. I try using the Wi-FI but it says my password expired. Someone tell IT to fix them self.
UPDATE: The passwords were renewed so that part works. BUT I DONT HAVE INTERNET ACCESS.

At my school, EVERY device is running a local webserver to block sites. When the device (Chromebook, the win10 laptops) try to access a block website, it redirects to localhost:6543 (or whatever port it was), stating it's blocked.
I find that really inefficient. Why not just run a server on the network, and just redirect there??
Oh yea, out of all the websites, “TikTok” has an “Override” button. It works, but no one knows why TikTok has that button.
