You’d be surprised to know that this isn’t the first suggestion that is still being actively discussed about.

Anyway, I support this suggestion. Having to sacrifice important info to add more details is frustrating.

Wh - wha? Did I not support this already? Support, we definitely need more characters. I've had to spend more time than I'd like thinking about how to fit my about me/WIWO within the character limits.

I'd agree with this. While yes, it's easy enough to just make a separate project with more about you, having more characters in both places would mean more chances for detailed descriptions - first impressions often matter on this website.

Plus, it would be nice to have a little extra wiggle room while editing About Mes/WIWOs - with a slightly larger limit, you wouldn't have to delete a majority of the text just to try out something new.
