Hey Burnout, Can you review my First scratch game please? thanks! The Neon Maze Runner
1st Category: Gameplay
Well no story, doesn't need one though If it did have a story that'd be cool. It wouldn't need to be long or complicated. The game went from easy to hard in the matter of 2 levels! Which made me angry when I had got 5-6 levels in then I die to a near impossible hole. The glitches, well the only one is the
press Q to start, you can skip the entire of the first level. Lag isn't an I issue but you really need a steady hand to play this, and I don't, So if you
can turn your mouse sensitivity down or play full screen, which will make it much easier.
7/20
2nd Category: Controls and Introduction:
The controls are easy and simple to understand. But depending on how steady you are with a mouse and that determines how hard/easy the game is.
The games doesn't need a tutorial but It got frustrating once I went into the orange and got game over…It's not difficult to understand, and appeals to
all of the age ranges.
10/15
3rd Category: Graphics
The graphics are not great, it just doesn't look professional at the moment with the crudely drawn sprites and levels. None of the sprites
have been taken, but they all need updating to draw peoples attention
5/15
Overall total score:
23/50
Suggestions:
+ Better graphics

Could you please review this game?![]()
Splashy Shark 4.0
1st Category: Gameplay
No story but I'm not bothered, the game is good with the concept but I think that it needs to be something more than a jump over objects,
maybe you could add some levels or waves to the project making it progressively harder. I overall like it, but when I first clicked Instructions
to learn them I couldn't read them, the colour scheme doesn't seem right…maybe black and white or black and light blue the font doesn't
seem to be right too. The game when I first started I thought that I needed to keep mashing space until realizing that I needed to hold it down.
There are no glitches but I suspect someone didn't really get a High score of 2,061 I'm guessing a glitch, how one did this I shall not know. Lag
Isn't an issue as it's a small game with not a lot of stuff happening at once.
15/20
2nd Category: Controls and Introduction:
The controls where easy and the power-ups I understand, but me being me was confused about the controls for at-least five-minutes as I
couldn't read the tutorial. The tutorial like I said needs to be changed, as I couldn't read it. Easy to understand for all ages.
8/15
3rd Category: Graphics
The graphics are ok, some taken from the sprites that are offered, the music wasn't the strong point it seemed to glitch out every time I
loaded the project up, and It didn't suit the project a great deal. No velocity, as of yet which would be nice. The high-score is perfectly fine.
Maybe a weekly reset?
2/15
Overall Total score: 25/50
I'm not asking for another review, but do you like this new version better?

Hello! I'd like some honest feedback about my game so that I can make improvements! https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/56671406/
1st category, Gameplay:
There is no story, but I don't think there need to be, as this is a simple game with the only objective being to survive as long as possible.
I found it very difficult, yet not impossible. It's also seriously addicting - well done for that!
No serious glitches, just the obstacles sometimes flash briefly after the player is hit.
Lag isn't an issue, at least not on my computer.
15/20
2nd category, Controls and Introduction:
The controls are extremely simple, and therefore easy to use.
There's no tutorial, except for a few words in the project notes, and that is perfectly fine because of the simplicity of the game concept.
Very clear and easy to understand.
13/15
3rd category, Graphics:
The art style is nothing new - it's simplistic, smooth and clear-cut. This suits the game well.
The animations are nice and smooth.
7/15
4th bonus category, Is it noticed?

TOTAL:
35/50 - A nice, well-put together game with beautiful graphics, sleek animation and an original concept. Awesome job!
Suggestions:
+ A restart button
+ Different levels with different difficulties and obstacles
+ A variety of differently shaped and coloured obstacles
