Holy smokes, you've done a lot of the steps before I've told you. By this point, I have to echo @LiFayTheGoblin. I'll contact Martin Wollenweber quickly, and get the you connected with him.

Edit: In the meanwhile, I think it might be good if you try making some mockup Wiki pages in Japanese? Here's what the Indonesian Wiki did when making mockup pages: http://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/48841/

Not really. Besides a steady stream of A's in French class.

If I had to place my skill really well, I'd say I'm almost fluent at interpreting French, and okay-good at best on spitting it out again.

We (the DACH-Scratch-Wiki-Community) will help you in creating a scratch-wiki in your own language, if you apply here (see example-application below) . We than will build you a wiki in your language and help you to make a start.

We already helped starting:
* http://dach.scratch-wiki.info (best known as http://scratch-dach.info/ )
* http://indo.scratch-wiki.info (best known as http://scratch-indo.info/
* http://ru.scratch-wiki.info (best known as http://scratch-ru.info/
* http://jp.scratch-wiki.info/
All above listed Wikis still need more authors, please consider to get author if you are able to help with scratch in that language!

To apply you must fulfill following conditions:
1. You are a group of at least four scratchers, that want to build the starting-team of that Scratch-Wiki (better more!!! It's really important that there is a group not just one or two persons, no “socket puppets”! You will not make it, if you have no other people that motivate and help you and then we have a “dead-wiki” that helps and motivates nobody)

2. Your “Application-Tread” that is linked here shows that all/most members of that team are willing and able to contribute, because they:
a) are experienced Scratchers (have own qualified projects!!!)
b) are good in English (should be demonstrated in the application thread)
c) are good in the wiki-language (should be demonstrated in the application thread,
at least two members of the team should speak the wiki-language native!!!)
d) at least one of the team should have media-wiki experience (can best demonstrated
by authorship in the English scratch wiki or Wikipedia)

We made that conditions slightly stronger, but that's better to save us and you from disappointment. We don't want to discuss that conditions. We wasted much time with “single-person-founder”, “not-native-founder” …don't discuss with us, but try to find others to build a team that fits the conditions.

I translated these 2 texts by myself. but it sounds quite odd as if it's translated by a translator. Therefore I changed some exact wording.
My mother language is Cantonese(traditional Chinese) so the simplified Chinese version may sound a bit odd.
PS I wonder why the link to the indonesia and russia page doesn't work. I use quote and only changed the english into chinese

Thank you DHMO! I'll get the translation up into the main post, but before I do that, do you know how to spell Simplified Chinese in Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese in Traditional Chinese?

Chinese by itself is 中文. It is the same in simplified and traditional. Both readers will recognize it.

Simplified is 简化字 in simplified and 簡化字 traditional. Traditional is 繁体字 in simplified and 繁體字 in traditional. (I might be wrong. It is hard to find good info.)

Most of China uses simplified. Only Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan use traditional.

To make it simple:
Simplified Chinese in Simplified Chinese:'簡體中文'
Traditional Chinese in Traditional Chinese: ‘繁體中文’ (or what you use in the scratch page:'正體中文')
But China, Hong Kong, and Macau use ‘繁體中文’ for traditional Chinese, Taiwan use'正體中文' for traditional Chinese (It's just like elevator and lift in british english and american english.)

We don't use ‘简化字’ or ‘繁體字’ which the hockiest has mentioned. Because it don't carry a meaning of ‘Chinese’. It only means ‘simplified word’ and ‘traditional words’
I'm quite sure about this because I'm living in HK and my mother language is Cantonese

Thank you again @DHMO! I think I'll try using Chinese “中文” for the link instead of Simplified Chinese ‘簡體中文’ and Traditional Chinese ‘繁體中文’, unless you know how to say “Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese” I realized making two separate links for Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese would be odd, considering you can't link to the middle of a post.

If you haven't noticed yet, I added the Chinese translation to the front post.

I also should have asked this earlier, but would you like to contribute to a Chinese Scratch wiki?
