Where do the music loops come from?
If you guys want I could make a new topic for this with a up-to-date topic post with all the info / leads we have so far?
Since the OP for this topic is inactive I doubt they'd mind.
(Edit: I'm working on the topic post now but I won't post it without a consensus from you guys, since I can't exactly get permission from the OP who left Scratch.)
Edit 2: Okay, here's what I have typed up. Please let me know if I've made any mistakes or if there's anything that should be added!!

This is a thread dedicated to finding the original sources and where applicable, full versions of the loops in the Scratch music library. Huge thanks to everyone who helped out at the original thread but since the OP is inactive, most of the posts tend to be people restating knowledge we already know, so I thought it would be better to have a new thread with all the info in the topic post.Loop Master List with Relevant LeadsBossa Nova - Sample of “Bossa Bossa” by Kevin MacLeod

I found this from a now unshared project about the scratch LGBTQ and BLM emojis. I found this project from an old Scratch forum with the same topic. Opened the link with turbo warp before the update that DOSENT allow viewing unshared projects.Metadata indicates this is from an album called “Sounds of Scratch 1.4”. The original origin of this file beyond the project iamout123 found it in is unknown. Why are there so many loops by Beau Silver, and do extended versions exist?
Beau Silver is the brother of the former Scratch Team member Jay Silver who seems to have been in charge of sourcing music loops for Scratch 1.4. It would seem plausible, then, that extended versions might not exist, however an extended version of Cave was found from an unknown original source.
Attempts have been made to contact Beau Silver with no response.Did Androit write the Dance tracks?
There was a video on YouTube Music by an artist called Androit that consisted of all of the “Dance” tracks stitched together. There was some debate as to whether they were the original artist or were just falsely claiming the tracks for themselves, which often happens with stock music. The video has since been taken down with no copyright information provided. What happened to the original Techno tracks?
gloob(ic) was a group of two MIT students, Jeff Lieberman and Eric Gunther. Scratch's Techno loops were both sampled from their album mass ave sessions. However, these are actually mixes of snippets taken from various live performances. The original audios used to be available at a MIT media domain but no longer exist. What are the hex codes and do they mean anything?
Some nonsensical hex codes were found in the metadata of certain loops from Scratch 1.4, as well as in the mysterious “Cave (extended)” file. They likely have to do with iTunes's “Sound Check” feature. The most notable thing about them is that the first part of the hex code in “Cave (extended)” matches the hex code in “Cave”, which gives a pretty convincing argument for it being the official full version.
