Inline Scratchblocks!

The Suggestion
It would be awesome if we could get inline scratchblocks code. I think this is self explanatory, but I will elaborate for clarity's sake. What I mean By inline scratchblocks code is the following:
You can move your sprite using the move (10) steps block!
Now, pretend that the orange text is scratchblocks code, like this:
move (10) steps
But on the same line as the rest of the quote.

How It Would Work
The syntax (way to tell the forums to put inline code) could be done in a few ways.
First, it could simply be:
plaintext [scratchblocks] scratch code [/scratchblocks] more plaintext
Where the scratch code would only take up one line of scratch blocks, and the tag is not on a new line. However, this could break some old posts. So how about a new way of designating Scratch Blocks?
Another alternative would be how StackOverflow does it, with the grave accent ( ` ) surrounding the code, i.e.
plaintext `scratch code ` more plaintext
Or, as a combination, the tags [sb] or [blocks] could represent any Scratch Blocks code, but if written in one line, would be displayed as inline. This would:
  1. Make the Scratchblocks tag shorter
  2. Not break old posts
  3. Allow for inline Scratch code

Example:
Plaintext [blocks]inline Scratch code[/blocks] More plaintext

Plaintext
[blocks]
Old-style (not inline) Scratch code
[/blocks]
More plaintext
Tell me what you think!

Support! It's kind of annoying to ALWAYS put them in columns.

I'd like backticks to be reserved for online code though,
I think should be used for scratchblocks.

How about [scratchblocks=inline]?

I would just suggest making it automatically inline when the tags were inline, but that would mess up old posts.

I think the entire scratchblocks tag should be shortened, and it should auto-inline.

So basically, you support something like the grave-accent solution?
normal text, `code` more normal text
Alternatively,
[blocks]code[/blocks]
or
[sb]code[/sb]
would shorten the normal tag, and allow for unchanged normal posts.

Support for [sb] or [blocks], it's more consistent with the other tags (and [blocks] was on the old forum as well)

Bump, and support for changing them to [sb] tags. (The old tag is really long…)

It is optional, you would just put a return before adding the scratchblocks tag.

I [scratchblocks=inline]support::operators[/scratchblocks] this. While it obviously looks better, it is also incredibly easy to implement. All you need is an easy CSS rule: .blocks{display:inline-block;}
That's it.
