Why are comments allowed to have more characters than your profile page sections?

+1 Support! But I'm not against keeping the 500 character limit of comments. Because sometimes when I discussed about how to fix a bug in a project my comments were quite long and I had to spit them into two. If the limit was lower I'd have to split it in even more comments.

Of all my three years and then some on scratch, I had made more than a few 400+ comments- usually when I'm asking about or explaining scripts to other people. And don't get me started on that, either; there are as many different reasons as there are ways to write 500-letter-long posts.

Bump. I think the limit is dumb in general because the HTML alone for one project in an AE studio has at least 550 chars

More data is wasted on this unused account.
