FPS in scratch in a nutshell

So do want to squeeze a little more fps in your scratch game? FPS in scratch speeds up scripts. so more than 40+ fps might be good or bad! For ex if i use my mobile test The game at 30 fps it will run as expected. At 250 fps (on turbowarp) the game is really sensitive and moving is fast! So if you can move in your game then 30 fps is good. if not run at any fps you want!

FPS in scratch in a nutshell

I think there might be a way to fix this?

Instead of
move (5) steps
Do
move ((5) * ((30) / (true fps))) steps
for 30 fps this will be the same.
for 60 fps it will move 2.5, but since it is double the framerate it will move the exact same amount.
The only problem i see is actually finding out the true fps, because i think you have to use the
(days since 2000)
block in some sort of way

FPS in scratch in a nutshell

It's really nice that you want to help out with a guide! However, we have a number of them in the forums already and we don't have a good way to showcase any more. If you want to make a guide in a Scratch project, that would be fine. You could advertise it in the “Show and Tell” section too.

There are lots of other ways to help out in the forums too. Helpful Scratchers are always welcome in the “Questions About Scratch”, “Help With Scripts”, “Requests” and other sections. Just look around and ask questions
