In 2021 when I was 8 years old when I opened the email site I opened an educational website that was from my class email I could never confirm my email and when I turned it off the account was deleted and I had to create another one. Only in 2022 when I used my father's email and then in 2023 I created my email. It was annoying not being able to share my projects with other people. What is the only way to solve it? Removing email confirmation! Same as Scratch 1.x

this is probably going to be rejected because Scratch Team needs your email for various purposes or when certain situations pop up.

but scratch can still ask for email, just without confirmation

Removing this would cause a ton of spam bots to start up. The email confirmation is required for appeals, and if a ton of people spam with the same email, they could all get banned.

The negatives of that would outweigh the positives, for example as MudkipKappa mentioned people wouldn't be able to, well, appeal their bans. Email confirmation isn't just used for appeals either, it's used for various things such as contact us.
