Action SWC Event #1
351 words

My eyes widened in fear. It was the day of tryouts for the musical, and I couldn’t speak. A spider scuttled at my feet, unbeknownst to me. A group of teachers sat in the front row, and a group of students who hoped to try out were scattered around.
I gulped, and right when I was about to give up…CHOMP!!!
I felt a sharp pain in my foot and winced, my eyes watering. “I-I-I…” I began.
One of the teachers looked at me with a weary, impatient face. “We’ll have another tryouts round next week. You may go.”
I sped off the stage, my short brown hair getting in my face, but I didn’t care. I ran and ran, all the way to the outside of the school, to investigate the injury on my leg.
The bruise looked…orange? A light orange too, almost like that of .. a mango? What does this mean? I thought to myself. I chuckle. Maybe I’ll be the next spider man, I thought sarcastically.

My mom picked me up later, and I didn’t tell her about it, just in the case that this ends up being some sort of superhero situation, though I highly doubted it. It’s the next morning when everything becomes clear.

I woke up to the smell of mangoes. When I looked in the mirror to see if I’d changed, my eyes had turned an orangey color. I squinted, about to rub my eyes when an orange laser shooted out of my eyes. It smelled of mangoes and mystery.
Then I squinted again and blinked, and opened my eyes, and … I’m not here. What the actual BLEEP is happening to me? I ask myself impatiently. Should I go to school? Will people notice I smell like mangoes? Will I turn invisible? Will I be experimented on?

That day was a field trip day to the zoo. It also was the day I found out my teachers were spiderhuman as well, and my classmates were, too. I gasped when they revealed the secret. I wasn’t going to have to hid from them after all.

Daily #3 - 374 Words

Host: “Here at Coco Enterprises, we want to make you have the most comfortable experience possible. Imagine this…a bean bag that is the shape of a raspberry. And it smells like raspberries (and mangoes,) too! Presenting… the RaspberryBean!”
*Host gestures to the product*
“Our bean bag chair is made of only the best quality materials by childre- I mean our valued employees! Let’s hear what our customers have to say about it!”

A. Realperson:
*Walks onto stage*
“I found this product very comfortable and satisfactory! I bought one for every person in my family!”

Host: “How ever did you buy a product for every single person in your family?”

A. Realperson: “You don’t need to be rich to buy the RaspberryBean!”

Host: “That’s right! Prices for the RaspberryBean start at only $39.99!”

A. Realperson: “I still can’t believe it, and I’ve owned the RaspberryBean for twenty years!”

Mysterious Audience Member: “This project is some sort of scam, I almost died of suffocation-”

Host: “Take him away.” the host mutters.

Mysterious Audience Member: “No, you can’t silence me! I will bring the truth to the people! The Host is lying to you! It’s all a scam!”
*Is taken away by security*

Host: “So, putting that behind us, what do you like about this project the most, valued customer?”

A. Realperson: “Well, I especially love the scent of it, it reminds me of my youth when I worked in the fields and collected raspberries. It was so very peaceful in those times.”

Host: “Ah, that is quite #relatable. Let’s talk more about how we make the project. We use fresh raspberries and mangoes collected and picked by paid workers, organic swcer toes of the best quality, and more! All of these things work together to create the RaspberryBean!”

A. Realperson: “I suppose I’ll be going now.”

Host: “It was great to have you here, Allan– I mean an anonymous customer that I didn’t know before this interview.”

Word War #1
Competitor: @-BookDragon-
Prompt: “Is now a bad time to tell you I’m claustrophobic?”
Words: 241
Points: #25

It was time to go on the water slide. We had waited hours and hours, my sister and I. As we got in the slide, ready to plunge into the icy depths, my little sister said, “Is now a bad time to tell you I”m claustrophobic?”
“What??” I shouted, as we plunged down the slide. I gasped at the news.
She screamed at the very top of her lungs as we went down. My eyes teared up at the crazy scene. We twisted, and turned, and fell. I felt as scared as I expected she was.
“Oh my God, oh my God!” I screamed.
And then it was over. We splashed into the pool. “You good, Lily?” I said.
“Wow, that wasn’t as scary as I thought it’d be,” she said. “Can I go again?”
I laughed. “Lily!” I said scoldingly.
And that was the story of how my sister was traumatized. She thought it’d be super scary, btu it actually wasn’t. And that proves that you should always try new things.

I remember when I was young I was equally scared of being cramped in tight spaces, but I tried it like Lily, and it wasn’t that bad. The Very End.

Word War #2
Competitor: @silverlynx-
Words: 190 / 4 minutes
Points: #

The Hidden Cabin of Mangoes was going to win this session of SWC. After all, they had been planning a lot of in the shadows. This secret society was going to beat the others. They already had 15k secret points, right at the beginning of the session.
Gurtle, their leader, held a meeting right before the next day. “Hello, mascots. I’m calling you here today to tell you that we have a big chance of getting the win this session. We have many points, especially thanks to me, who got 200 already. Soon we will take over, and destroy everything. I have started chomping on the forums as we speak.”
The mascots noticed that Gurtle was eating a piece of cardboard, aka the forums. “Everyone shall fear us!” yelled another mascot.
“We will give them free mangoes as a trick, and put poision in it so that they can’t write fast!” yelled another.
“They shall rue the day they hurt us! HHAHA!!!” yelled gurtle.
The mascots ran around in a circle, laughing and chanting and smiling. Mwahhahah they thought to themselves. And then they realized.. it was all a dream.
