"community curated sprite collection"
this spoke briefly about a community-curated sprite collection for projects. i assume these would be the default sprites you can import. can you tell me more about this? it sounds like a wonderful idea. i would be glad to contribute.
Using Firefox 46.0.1, Flash plugin version 21.0.0.242, and Windows 7 Professional.

JSO has been exploring this – basically, the idea is that Scratchers could voluntarily contribute sprites, scripts, and images to a community library. Scratchers could then browse / search this when looking for stuff to use in their own projects. Just like the current sprite library, but dynamic, and growing.

Lightninhow would you choose which ones to accept, or who gets to contribute? i wouldn't want certain sprites of mine being included, but other people could add them as their own.

@wes: Sprites in your projects can be used by anyone already, so I imagine it's a moot point?

veggieman001That would be great! Integrate it in form as a “Share Costume” button and open a small dialog for Name & DescriptionsoupoftomatoPresumably similar but incorporated into the program.LightninLike Scratch Resources?

Also, mods that review them.
I volunteer.

veggieman001Awesomeness! So basically you can ‘share’ a costume and it goes by a mod or admin before being imported into the sprites folder? If so, then I would like to volunteer to be a mod for that, if you don't already have some picked.soupoftomatoPresumably similar but incorporated into the program.LightninLike Scratch Resources?

This account quit, but I'm still active on my other account, SilverEagle.
Hey! Are you not sure what you shouldn't be doing on Scratch? Reread the Community Guidelines, they'll help.

soupoftomatonot exactly. sprites in the community library are going to get used a whole heck of a lot more than being in a project - and like i said id like to ensure the things i draw get uploaded under my own name and credit.LightninLike Scratch Resources?

So it's pretty much like scratch resources?
I'll just say it: I'm an admin/mod on SR (a very inactive one at that, but I think there hasn't been much activity ), I can approve new items there.

Well, if something is integrated into the system, I would hope it works like remixing, where it automatically adds credits for your use of someone else's thing.

Hi-
You have over 100 notifications on your account. The Scratch website is a website that serves as an educational resource for children and their parents, teachers and their students, and people new to programming to learn about programming skills. But when we see users who have been blocked and notified so many times, we start thinking that they're not really interested in Scratch anymore, and we can no longer trust them.
Based on your past history on the Scratch website, we don't think you'll be able to follow our Community Guidelines. Your account(s) will not be unblocked. Please do not use or make any Scratch accounts.
You are welcome to use the offline editor to make projects (see link below):
