common sense anyone got it?

But Eaglercraft is just a pirated version of Minecraft. Minecraft costs while eaglercraft is free and your not allow to download things that are supposed to be paid for free other wise your breaking the law :p

but they are spamming it in the scratch forums and sending links and remember what the community guidelines said:

Scratch Communty Guidelines wrote:

Be Safe: keep personal and contact information private.
For safety reasons, don't give out any information that could be used for private communication, in person or online.

This includes sharing real last names, phone numbers, addresses, hometowns, school names, email addresses, usernames or links to social media sites, video chatting applications, or websites with private chat functionality.

They are sending links to sites and remember eaglercraft you can chat in it. so obviously they should ban it. And Scratch has a rule where you can't share websites with private chat. And on that website, you can chat on it, so they should ban it. :p

and also get Minecraft Education Edition it's for school thingy whatever.

My Point is they Should ban it or whatever they are suggestion
The chat there is actually public.

the instructions are implied. its not telling you “go to this url to get minecraft”. also, its not illegal if they arent selling it.

common sense anyone got it?
yes, people have common sense, if anyone hasn't got it then it's you.
Whether or not you agree with piracy, it is illegal, even if what is being pirated isn't being sold for money. Even if the instructions are only “implied” they are still suggesting ways to obtain illegal products which is against the ToU.
It doesn't suggest ways to obtain illegal products.

Minecraft is a paid game. It's not meant to be played for free.
Playing it for free is illegal, yet the website mentioned in the first post is a free version of Minecraft.
Therefore, I would consider the website to be an illegal product.

Mentioning illegal products isn't allowed on Scratch, let alone linking to them.
Therefore, this suggestion is implemented. I'll ask for it to be closed.

Notch says otherwise

Notch wrote:

Just pirate it. If you still like it when you can afford it in the future, buy it then. Also don’t forget to feel bad.

Notch wrote:

Piracy is not theft,” he said. “If you steal a car, the original is lost. If you copy a game, there are simply more of them in the world. There is no such thing as a ‘lost sale’. Is a bad review a lost sale? What about a missed ship date?

Regardless of what Notch or Jens thinks, neither of them actually own the intellectual property rights to Minecraft (Microsoft does, if I recall correctly, ever since they bought Mojang Studios).

And regardless of what the creators think, a violation of copyright law is still a violation of copyright law. @Voxalice is correct here- and this suggestion is technically implemented.

We do not allow mentions of eaglercraft, so this is already implemented.
