should these SWC topics even be created here, or should they stay in collaboration (or even more specifically their megathread)?
here's an image of TIMAC's front page with the SWC threads highlighted: (this isn't intended to be naming and shaming)
SWC = ██

as you can see, most of the topics are SWC topics. this causes unnecessary off-topic clutter that should go in Collaboration instead.

Non-project creative collaboration (writing, making a non-Scratch game, Minecraft build, etc.) normally go here.

Hello! Question about the Making&Creating forum–I posted a speedpaint of some art I was creating (with a description/discussion in the post, not just a plain video), but my post was taken down as unrelated/spam. Are speedpaints/etc not allowed on this forum?

the Community Guidelines does not let you post links to unmoderated websites and Minecraft is not moderated so no Minecraft links on scratchshould these SWC topics even be created here, or should they stay in collaboration (or even more specifically their megathread)?While SWC is hosted on Scratch, it's not a project; Collaboration is for Scratch projects only. (#203)solution: create a Collaboration Outside Scratch forum

Oh, the owner of the TIMAC directory said something about it being a one man job so it isn't a good fit.(#209)I don't see why not

That's not a problem, I don't think. Though it might not fit the directory because of that, that might be what they mean.Oh, the owner of the TIMAC directory said something about it being a one man job so it isn't a good fit.(#209)I don't see why not

Where shoud I put a writing contest?If you wanna advertise it (after you’ve shared it) go to the Show and Tell forum.
If you wanna put your writing contest somewhere (if it’s not on scratch already) make a project of it and share it, that’ll allow you to put information about it (in the project and/or the description of the project) people can include their entries by remixing.
I hope this helped! Have a nice day/night!

Alright thanks bye!No. Our Community Guidelines (https://scratch.mit.edu/community_guidelines) call for users to be respectful, and the forums has specific guidelines (https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/4331/) which state to not post anything disrespectful and to not create topics that have a track record of leading to angry discussion.![]()
