I don’t think this is a good fit for the forum. The title kind of misleads the actual forum post.
Now, answering your question, this is ChatGPT’s take on it.
As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, Turkey has not specifically banned loot boxes, but there have been discussions and some regulatory actions related to them, especially concerning their potential to lead to gambling-like behavior.

In 2019, Turkey's **Lottery Administration** (Milli Piyango) issued a warning that loot boxes could be seen as a form of gambling and could therefore fall under Turkish gambling laws. They raised concerns about the possibility of minors being exposed to and participating in loot box mechanics, which could lead to gambling addiction.

Since then, there have been ongoing efforts in the country to regulate online gaming and gambling more broadly. The Turkish government has focused on ensuring that any form of gambling or betting is properly regulated, which could extend to loot boxes if they are perceived as a form of chance-based gambling.

In 2020, **the Turkish Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK)** suggested the possibility of regulating loot boxes through the lens of gambling laws and consumer protection, particularly in the context of games that are popular with young audiences. This would include requiring transparency about the odds of obtaining specific items from loot boxes, which is a practice that has been implemented in some countries to protect consumers.

It’s important to note that regulations may have evolved since 2021, so I recommend checking the latest updates from official sources or news outlets to confirm whether there have been any new developments or specific regulations regarding loot boxes in Turkey.

Ignore the yap fest this other guy left although I do agree with him I hate ai. Its not illegal because there's no real money and because theres no real risk or reward. I played the game and found it very fun, a few things I would recommend - Making opening boxes more exiting (add animations etc) include more boxes with different loot. Have something to do to earn money, for example clicking the trees would get you money that you could use to buy lootboxes.

Those are some good ideas. Yeah that guy was wrong as the lootbox laws were passed in 2024 not 2019
