How? Do you have a server at your house? Or are you using a virtual server hosted by a hosting company? Perhaps something else?

Yes, please answer with more details! I was going to set up a home server of my own, but the computer I had salvaged for the purpose ended up with a bad board, so now it's a no-go.

That's too bad. I've gotten a home server to work with Ubuntu Server 13.04, and it does both web and Minecraft wonderfully.

I am sorry for not enough details, I will be using Ubuntu 12.04, and a LAMP server.
