How is Scratch detecting an euphemism a bad word when it's just a word that is modified to be less bad!?
My browser / operating system: Windows NT 10.0, Chrome 131.0.0.0, No Flash versions detected
Euphemism is bolded.
Message I typed: "@vmax2019? When the frick you're gonna be active again? It's been 5 months!“
Message appeared: ”It appears that your comment contains a bad word. You will be able to comment again in 5 minutes. Your account has been paused from commenting until then.“
I mean like, the word ”frick" is like the word which I'm not gonna tell, but it's modified to be less bad and more kid friendly. How is Scratch detecting an euphemism a bad word when it's just a word that is modified to be less bad!?

Some people probably can still be offended by it.

I don't think frick is the problem here. My guess is the last letters of one word with the first letters of the next spells a bad word, not that I could find so maybe someone who knows a few more swear words (that feels just wrong) could confirm?
Also, cannot replicate even in comments. Have you gotten bans before for bad words or something that might have lead the ST to make the filter stricter for you?

It's the combination of “frick” and the next three letters, which makes a disrespectful phrase.
The sentence should start “when the frick are you…” anyway, as that is grammatically correct.
Or just remove the word “frick”. That should be fine.

(#4)But I posted the exact comment and it was fine… So why?

you see, scratch's filters act if there are no spaces, meaning that if lesa was a bad word, saying “apple sause” would trigger it, so “frick y–” is what's triggering it.

(#6)But it doesn't trigger it. I tried posting the exact same comment the OP did and it was fine.
