So a few hours ago, I was still chatting on @griffpatch profile, and then suddenly the comment closed as I was trying to reply. I was utterly confused. Is it griffpatch or the Scratch Team that closed his comment section? there were nothing that time wrong, no spam, no ads, no shipping, just one ban speedrunner, but that speedrunner got past the moderators using bad words. He got taken down fast and quickly. If today nothing bad happened and was a quiet day there, how did the comments close?

Did griffpatch close it, or did scratch team? (If your st member you can reply please)
And also more importantly, as a person who chatted there for a long long time, is it temporarily or permanent? It’s difficult to find a another chat with the same members we chat on everyday on scratch.

I think st did it and hopefully it temporary because hes a BIG BIG BIG person for the scratch community and if hes banned… scratch wont do very well ngl

He is not banned. They have likely temporarily shut down his comments because of server load - hackers have been trying to overload scratch and They've had to temporarily remove his account recently because there was too much load on it.

Sometimes people just need to have a break. Chill.

Anyways, they have turned them off before, due to @griffpatch's comments being a lot of strain for the servers.

This is considered gossip. You can ask the profile owner of the profile that you are “chatting” on - if they choose, they can share what they know. Otherwise, it's not really your business. Perhaps you should find a place to chat where you have control over whether it is open or closed.
