Hello Scratchers, I am Aleksa9 and i have decided to start doing some reviews on games.

I will mark the score through 1-10 on Design, Gameplay, Graphics, Sound, Music and overall. Feel free to send me a link to your game in the description below and i will make a review down below. This could also help your project get more noticed. Also, you asking me to review one of your games can help me get noticed as well. Leading me to review bigger games. I will also be posting the game of the week (the best one iv'e reviewed so far) every Sunday. If you win, a project version of your review will get created! Also, i will post the 5 (or 10) best games that i have reviewed on that week and put up a leaderboard!

Thank you for reading and i hope you decide to post your game down below!

IMPORTANT: Your game has to be fairly long and it must meet good expectations like some other game that i have reviewed. Otherwise i cant give a proper review sorry

Ok, here is your review!

Side is a strategy game where one is travelled in a line while obstacles come in their way and they have to dodge them by either going on the other side of the line by pressing space or jumping over by pressing up and seeing how long they can survive for. While they are doing this, the line can also start to rotate slowly making the game more interesting. If they die, they receive the score they deserved and they simply try again. A fun and addictive concept.

The design for the game is fairly simple, it shows some inspiration and it also can resemble a design for a phone app.

The gameplay is really fun and addictive! However, sometimes the player could get confused on what to do next when an obstacle appears while the line continues to rotate. Some players could take a while to get used to this, and to understand the strategy for this game. while some advanced players could find it easy. In the end, the gameplay turns out fun.

The graphics and effects look quite cool and smooth especially for the title screen. Some of the sprites however look a little low quality and bland. But this doesnt effect the gameplay much at all as graphics are not such an important aspect in this game.

The music is a good choice for this game but some sound could be added to improve the game ever so slightly.

Overall, there are some ‘minor’ drawbacks, but this game is really fun for pretty much everyone and while it is a basic concept, the creator can stiil be proud of what work they have done in the end

Design 9/10
Gameplay 8/10
Graphics 8/10
Music 9/10
Overall 8/10

Ok, here is your review!

Rabbit Hutch is a simulator where you are given 2 rabbits and you must perform actions in order to make sure your rabbits are happy and healthy. The game comes with a built in tutorial with many sections that can also be accessed in the main part of the game which is extremely useful. The tutorial has lots of sections about every single part of the game. Whether its breeding or curing diseases, its there for you! There are 4 gamemodes that have different difficulty, and this game also comes with a save feature which is interesting. What's also interesting is the project only had 102 views when i reviewed this!

The design for the game is amazing! The main part of the simulator looks like your on a farm and the tutorial mentioned before is extremely organised and very helpful! The creator clearly has thought outside the box and thought of an idea that will and has worked!

The gameplay is interesting, fun and active. It can keep you occupied for quite a while if you really love this game, but there are a few minor glitches that you'll most likely come across that can confuse you. Knowing how to play the game can also be a bit confusing, but if your patient for just a short while, you'll understand the gameplay. This should only effect very few players.

The graphics look almost breathtaking! The design for the rabbits and the costumes look so neat and smooth that it looks like the creator spent a long time working on the graphics. However, the graphics could still be improved ever so slightly to push the project to its limits.

The music and sound is very relaxing and really sets the scene for the certain game. The music could be even more impressive if it was made by the creator. But this is only optional.

Overall, this game is truley great, and it really shows other people of scratch what a simulator is! Its big, fun, creative and deserves WAY more than 102 views. It is truley something to be proud of for a long time. Spread the word!

Design 9/10
Gameplay 9/10
Graphics 9/10
Music 9/10
Overall 9/10

Amazing Ball Game is a maze game where you are controlling a blue ball with the arrow keys (or w a s d) to reach the goal of your level without touching the red or the walls. There are 3 level difficulties. Easy, Medium and Hard. and each contain 1 level. While you are trying to complete your level, there is a score counter which decreases quickly to keep the adrenaline going. A fun concept.

The design for the game is pretty good. The levels look well thought out, and interesting to play. Another interesting concept of the design is you are using the ball to choose your level instead of the mouse. But some of the walls look a little uneven with the other wall next to it. Other than that, good design.

While the gameplay can be fun, there are quite a few flaws with it. When going up to start a level you start in the top left corner with the score counter a little bit in the way causing some players to have trouble getting past there. And when you finish the level, the game doesn't give you the score you got and it doesn't tell you what the highest score was.

The graphics look quite well for the certain game genre, but your main character is in bitmap format while almost everything else is vector. This doesnt look that great, but luckily this is minor.

There is only 1 part with music in this project. And thats when you win a level. A little background music wouldn't hurt, and certainly some sound could've been better as well.

Now overall, this game DOES have its qualities and the gameplay is still fun, but there are just some little things missing that can ruin the effect of making a really good game. However, i do recommend giving this a try, and its still something good to think about as a creator having created this game.

Design 8/10
Gameplay 7/10
Graphics 7/10
Music 5/10

Overall 6/10

The project version of this review will be made soon. Be sure to check back to see if its been made!

Yeah, I kinda thought the rating would be something like that. It was my first game XD
Btw, the maze isn't in vector, its just because I used Paint.Net instead of the Scratch editor to make the background, since it was easier for me.

Ok, here is codergeeks review!

Space Invaders is a 2D shooting game inspired by the game Taito. (1978) the objective of the game is to protect these buildings and you from aliens slowly coming down the screen. You do this by pressing space which releases a lazer. To me, this game was particularly interesting because i really like retro games and consoles. Whether its the Commodore 64 or the Super Nintendo, ill be interested.

The design is really cool! It perfectly resembles an old styled video game! Many people will be impressed when they see it.

The gameplay is fun and gives lots of encouragement to the user. But as you start the game everytime you shoot it will start to lag quite badly until the lazer hits an object or goes off screen. But luckily, this effect only takes place for a short period of time until some of the aliens have been shot. Another interesting thing about the gameplay is a flying saucer sometimes comes on the screen and if you hit it, you get alot of points! And yes, theres a score counter as well.

The graphics are interesting and well thought out for an old styled video game. It has that unique feel that not all games have on scratch.

There is no music in this game but thats because its old fashioned as mentioned many times but there is sound and the sound is quite cool but at some points it can be a bit annoying. Especially when the flying saucer comes by.

Overall, this game is quite a joy to play and many scratchers would be anticipated to see what the creator could make next! The creator should remember in passion for a long time how well this game is.

Design 9/10
Gameplay 9/10
Graphics 8/10
Sound 8/10

Ok, here is Cosmic Hamsters review!

Ninety Degrees is a Maze and/or Puzzle game where you have to try and pass levels by reaching an orange circle. To do this you must press space which rotates your character 90 degrees every time you press it. If you touch a yellow line, it flips you. If you touch a red line, you start again. The character moves non-stop to make the game interesting. A never before used concept!

The design is great! Some of the levels are designed in an imaginative way that can make you laugh or make the game more appealing to you. It really makes the atmosphere more inviting.

The gameplay is fun and addictive, but the whole idea of making the square turn 90 degrees can be extremely confusing to most scratchers and can take a while to get used to. It can also make few people feel as if they might even want to stop playing! But eventually the user should realize the idea and begin to have the maximum amount of fun.

The graphics look quite good for the certain game genre, but could be even better by making some of the graphics more ‘sleek’

The music is a good choice, the creator seems to be a big fan of the Kirby series, but the sound effect for pressing space can be a little annoying

Overall, this game is quite good, but it can be very confusing at times. This however, doesn't stop it from being a good game and i wish to see more in the future!

Design 9/10
Gameplay 8/10
Graphics 7/10
Music 8/10

Vice-Versa is a side-scrolling platform game where you have to jump on platforms and dodge blue blocks. There are also orange platforms that make you bounce and yellow platforms that do the opposite. Quite a cool and interesting platformer if you ask me.

The design is really cool! For the platformer being side-scrolled, its really neat and the levels stand out well and look thought out. Another good thing about the design is you can change the background colour of the game in the options menu!

The gameplay is fun and inspiring, but is a little bit too hard. The difficulty isn't such a big problem however, and the creator said he will be making more levels since this is only the v0.1 version. I am quite interested in this!

The graphics are good and simple. They resemble everything that's needed for a platformer and i dont seem to find any problem with it regarding graphics. Maybe making it even better would do something.

But the music is just wow! The into music is just sick and the main music was done by the creator! AND its awesome! Also, listening to the whole of the intro makes me want to dance! The music is amazing!

Overall, This game is amazing! Things that would probably improve it by very little is adding a score counter and some sound. The music is just really cool, and i cant wait to see what other levels the creator will make! Please continue this project and make it the best you can!
