Where does your username come from?

I was furious that all the usernames were taken so I took the nickname of my favourite stuffie and added “love”. Now everyone thinks it's because of pugs

Where does your username come from?

scratch cat [while the ''--''* (and maybe the ‘'the’' part) was added cause i wanted to ig .u. (iirc)]

*note: it's supposed to be 2 single dashes [''-''], not a double/em dash [''—'']

other accounts:
-@Zim12Yes: the ‘'zim’' part came from invader zim while the ‘'12Yes’' part came from my imagination [most likely]
-@an_iphone_14_pro: the iphone 14 pro .u.
-@scallopbites: the ‘'scallop’' part was taken from my old online name [scallop] and i decided to add ‘'bites’' to it cause why not [imagination]
-@aranarumey: namesnipe account based on a japanese utaite group called Aranarumey/あらなるめい .w.

Where does your username come from?

Originally, my username was crater24. (This account still exists today on Scratch.) I honestly have no idea why I chose that name. But when I was a kid, I planned on starting a company called Jazzy Mirrazzy, named after a nickname that we had for our dog. Eventually, I shortened the name to just Mirrazz, and even when I started to become unsure of whether I actually wanted to start the company, the name stuck around as “themirrazz.” Where did the “the” come from? Well, at the time I decided that the company would be called “Mirrazz”, and that “themirrazz” would be used to refer to me. eventually even after I wasn't really thinking about making Mirrazz a company anymore, the “themirrazz” username continued to stick. After all, I had no reason to change it. It got grammar rules, such as always being written in either all lowercase or all caps (eg “WHERE IS THEMIRRAZZ?!” or “themirrazz came to my Christmas party yesterday”). It was eventually katakana-ized as “サミラズ”, but there was actually a Japanese band with this name, so the katakana-ization became “テミラッズ.” Eventually, it was decided that the “ッ” (full stop character) might make it harder to pronounce, so it was shortened to “テミラズ.” There also was a period where it had localization in Latin-based languages, such as “elmírrazz” in Spanish and “lemirrazz” in French, but it was short lived. The only localization in my username now is transliteration to non-Latin based languages (Korean, Chinese, Hindi, Arabic, etc.) And that's basically the entire story of my username.

Edit: forgot to mention, as of now (2024) I've been starting to just use the transliterations to make it easier to pronounce, but it's usually still written out in the Latin characters.

well my ideal username in class games is boi but THAT was taken, so I tried boi_ and THAT was taken, so I added 341 and then an underscore and the rest is history

My username was made by my parents actually, my mom has a nickname for me, that being Bug, and EPB is my initials. No one ever pronounces it right though.

Hello! I'm sorry, but this topic is for sharing where your username came from, not for sharing random videos. If you want to do that, please comment on either your own profile, or share the link on a project you made.

i've already said hydrofungus so now for offsite usernames!!!

wobbuffet - self explanatory (pkmn addiction)
kyooze - kyoo (onl name) + “-ze” (funny suffix)
mlzuki - written as MlZUKI (second i is an L, because i like mizuki)
kazecodes - kaze (another name) + codes (cause it's a coding account)
import - made solely to annoy people (@import is used in css there but @import can also ping this account if not written with a /)

Where does your username come from?

Mine traces back to my name, but everyone calls me Moz in real life when I know them well enough. This happens online, too. My mother when I was like 3 called me “bobbers”, so I mixed the two to make Mozboz.

I actually have a couple usernames; Mozbozz with an extra z (likely from Mozboz being taken) Mozzart on the dead PopJam, because of Mozart the composer, it being an art based social media, and the fact that some of my usernames are “Mozbozz”; Mozaroni, when I would be pretending to be a YouTuber and when I do get one, a mix of “Moz” and “Macaroni”; Mozbozozboz when I got locked out of my Nintendo Network account and had to make another in the meantime.

Quite the story! I have more of a motive of people calling me “Moz”, but it traces to my real name so can't tell the story until I'm comfortable sharing my real name. Still won't be able to tell the story on Scratch though.

Where does your username come from?

When I was weird and had no logic I thought “I like apes” and since I was reading a lot about apes I thought “I know a leader of a chimp troop is called an ”Alpha male“ so why not make it Alpha_ape?”

I added 13 because everytime I had to create a username I'd write 13 with something else

I remember having trouble making this username but when I got an Idea IM SO LUCKY THAT “SpongeBob13” or was it “Spongebob_fan13” was taken

Now I start to regret it because the “Im the alpha i'm the leader meme”

*Sigh* if only I had one chance to switch it to @Alpha_ape

And my other accounts
@Alpha_extras: I'd share other stuff that doesn't belong to my main account
@Alpha_ape_31: 13 backwards
@Alpha_ape_l3: to prevent impersonation
@NewScratcher1345: Semi-namesnipe
@Newtester1345: Test account for a semi-namesnipe

@Kuginho: Ok this is a long one… when I played Fifa 23 I tried the Create player mode and I created Riberio Kugio (Koog-ee-o) a semi Brazilian man from the Congo (I was very proud of myself he looked like something the EA game devs would make)

I created like this whole story of him and a few months later I switched it to Kuginho (Koog-ee-n-yo) as what he's referred by
Then I decided to make a account as “Kuginho” for fun (I was shocked that someone created an account called Kugio)

@Kuginho-test: a test account for @Kuginho
