Forgot to mention, not all of the listed brands are bootlegs. Some are leading in china's car market, like SAIC with their MG line. (You heard right, MG is a SAIC brand, explaining it would break the boundaries of this topic, so no questions.) Geely is also a leading company, with ACTUAL CONNECTIONS to Mercedes-Benz. (Geely makes the chinese Benz models and the new Smart cars.)
