i spent 3 weeks scratching continuously and posted 3 projects why am i not promoted to scratcher ,
i thought you only need to scratch for two weeks and post 2 projects ,
is this a bug ?
if it is please fix it ,
if it isn't tell me how to become a scratcher.

The requirements to become Scratcher aren't set; it's actually possible some parts of it is randomized.

The minimum is 2 weeks, the user has been active, and has shared at least 2 projects.

However, it usually takes about a month for most people to get Scratcher, and there are decade-old accounts that are still New Scratchers for one reason or another.

As a New Scratcher, being a New Scratcher for an indeterminant amount of time is really diminishing my enthusiasm for this platform.

This is a clumsy and hamfisted solution to preventing spam.

You need to favourite some projects and follow some users.
