Blau- I don’t know what is was that brought us together- Fate? Coincidence? Perhaps our shared love of PJSK? Or Yume’s Absolutely Certified Rhythm Game Addiction? What I do know is, if you had told past Yume when she first saw the KB forum that the very person hosting the collab would literally become one of my best friends ever, she wouldn’t have believed you. Of course, Yume being Yume, I asked about the collab, though I’ll have to admit- you made everything sound so professional I did feel a little distant back then, adding to the fact that I seriously did not expect any of this to happen. Though, I’m beyond grateful that it did.
I’ll be brutally honest- I get close to tears every time someone replies with their message. Every passing second is another grain of sand passing through the hourglass of time, getting closer and closer to the definite end. I knew I just couldn’t let you go like that, without a proper farewell. It’s not just sadness that washes through me though- The relief and happiness of seeing how many people really do care about you is unmatched by anything else I’ve ever felt.
It truly pains me that I know this is farewell. A sad farewell at the curtain call, if you may. At least for now. Still, I’d like to take this moment- flip the hourglass over, just for a little bit, to recollect on all the memories we’ve made during our short time together. It’s hard to believe it all started from a small topic on the forums about making a rhythm game. I don’t even know how, but from my memory you discovered about me and I found your ‘Untitled Rhythm Game’ thread on the same day. There’s no way it’s a coincidence, right? Did Blaumepathy already exist then?
After a while, we started chatting a bit more across profiles, and our common interest of PJSK really did play a big part in everything, I feel. From talking about Rui cards (RUIII <33) to recording a collab cover of Kami no Manimani, it was an exciting journey. I forgot how, but I introduced you to SWC. And then, things really started going. But just as everything brought us together, it had to bring us apart again. I hate how I knew your departure would come someday, but it wasn’t something I could change. What matters is that we’ve made the most of it, and those memories will live with us forever.
A lot has happened throughout the time we’ve been together. When I say a lot, I really mean it. There were times where I was torn because of decisions others made. Some small, some big. I won’t ever know what made all these people do what they did. All I know is, you tried to comfort me through all of it. Remember when I told you there was something I couldn’t tell you at the time? Here, this is for you, Blau. I couldn’t get the full version, but… Remember when we were first talking about doing Kami no Manimani, and considering the options? We never got to WSOEAYWS, so… I hope you enjoy the game sized version Yume cover. Yes, it was on a tight deadline, and I’m upset I can’t get the quality any better than it is. Still- I don’t know a better way to thank you for all that you’ve done to me, which I know for sure is much, much more than you think.
May all of your dreams come true, I know the ending will be a happy one. <3

I’ll be brutally honest- I get close to tears every time someone replies with their message. Every passing second is another grain of sand passing through the hourglass of time, getting closer and closer to the definite end. I knew I just couldn’t let you go like that, without a proper farewell. It’s not just sadness that washes through me though- The relief and happiness of seeing how many people really do care about you is unmatched by anything else I’ve ever felt.
It truly pains me that I know this is farewell. A sad farewell at the curtain call, if you may. At least for now. Still, I’d like to take this moment- flip the hourglass over, just for a little bit, to recollect on all the memories we’ve made during our short time together. It’s hard to believe it all started from a small topic on the forums about making a rhythm game. I don’t even know how, but from my memory you discovered about me and I found your ‘Untitled Rhythm Game’ thread on the same day. There’s no way it’s a coincidence, right? Did Blaumepathy already exist then?
After a while, we started chatting a bit more across profiles, and our common interest of PJSK really did play a big part in everything, I feel. From talking about Rui cards (RUIII <33) to recording a collab cover of Kami no Manimani, it was an exciting journey. I forgot how, but I introduced you to SWC. And then, things really started going. But just as everything brought us together, it had to bring us apart again. I hate how I knew your departure would come someday, but it wasn’t something I could change. What matters is that we’ve made the most of it, and those memories will live with us forever.
A lot has happened throughout the time we’ve been together. When I say a lot, I really mean it. There were times where I was torn because of decisions others made. Some small, some big. I won’t ever know what made all these people do what they did. All I know is, you tried to comfort me through all of it. Remember when I told you there was something I couldn’t tell you at the time? Here, this is for you, Blau. I couldn’t get the full version, but… Remember when we were first talking about doing Kami no Manimani, and considering the options? We never got to WSOEAYWS, so… I hope you enjoy the game sized version Yume cover. Yes, it was on a tight deadline, and I’m upset I can’t get the quality any better than it is. Still- I don’t know a better way to thank you for all that you’ve done to me, which I know for sure is much, much more than you think.
May all of your dreams come true, I know the ending will be a happy one. <3

Hello, and welcome to Yume’s (high pressure washing machine) leader app! It's been quite a long journey through all my apps- like, it's my fifth time applying already(?!) :00 Anyways, let's not waste any more time (since- uhh- the app is already time-themed and has probably enough on that,) and head into the answers!
Hello there! I'm Yume, EST/EDT dweller who of course, created this app! I’m also something sort of an avid writer and SWC-er, aspiring singer, amateur artist and graphic designer, song rewriter (cough- quite experienced in that one :,D), songwriter, Project SEKAI player and addict, longtime fan of the Aikatsu! franchise, musical enthusiast, somewhat certified rhythm game addict, currently a co-manager of a Scratch rhythm game collab, and fantasizes as Wonderlands x Showtime’s sixth member, canon according to a few. Whew- don't think I missed anything this time, right?
I’ve been writing for… pretty much as long as I can remember. When I was younger, I loved to write my own songs, poems, and scripts (, though clearly the quality is a concern :,0), and I think that's probably what got me into writing in the first place. I was introduced to story and diary writing later on, and was immediately hooked into those worlds as well. Though, when I first started, I pretty much wrote about the same things every time. Same genre, same types of characters, because I had little to no knowledge on other genres entirely. SWC changed that by introducing genres of writing I would have never learned at school at the time, and making every writing process more fun. (Yes, including essays, past Yume-) My current favourite genres haven't really changed from the past sessions- Fantastopian (fantasy + dystopian) and epistolary, as well as fairy tale rewrites.
Of course, as mentioned before, I do have other interests. If I’m not sitting at my usual spot with my laptop on the kitchen counter, you can probably find me in my room, where I could be in my closet recording a song cover, perhaps randomly dancing to my favourite songs, or lying on the bed with my diary and writing about the happenings of the day. Other times, you’ll find me grinding songs on different rhythm games, mainly Project SEKAI, especially when I’m trying to tier for my favorite events. I might also be charting on Rhythm Plus due to the fact that a lot of songs I’d love to be in a game isn’t actually in one… :0
“Woah, okay, Yume- that's a lot.” Well… that's because that's all me. Part of the life that’s hidden from the rest of the world, but one that I find comfort and reassurance in. I know I’m not alone. That's honestly one of the best parts of SWC, and why I enjoy every session so much. I wanted to encapsulate all of that into one leader app- everything that’s happened to get me where I am now, and all the memories I’ve made along this seemingly dreamlike journey. So, I thought it'd be a great way to end this question off with a thank you. To everyone who’s supported me, to those who've made me who I am today, to all of you out there, keeping our dreams alive. <33

2. Experience (379 words)
Yume SWC backstory time! iei-! Trust me, I’m not going to talk about the whole ‘stumbling across the main cabin and had no idea what is was but was interested’ story all over again, I’m sure you’ve already seen that one. If not, just- uhh- look for my old intros or SWC promo projects. That’ll tell you everything you need to know on that topic. ; )
Anyways! I’ve been a camper for three sessions- March ‘21 with (the) Mythology (Chickumbers), March ‘23 working at the Poetry Coffeehouse, and Jul ‘23 as part of the Dystopian Spy Society. In November ‘23, I led my first-ever cabin, Fairy Tales, also known as the Fairy Tale Academy. March ‘24 brought Epistolary in as a new cabin with the Epistolary Letter Terminal, and in my most recent session- July ‘24, co-hosting the Script Podcast! That’ll be six sessions total, making this next one my seventh… has it really been that long?! I really can’t stress this enough- leading a cabin is super amazing. Getting to (co)lead three cabins in the past has taught me so much about leadership, taking responsibility, decision-making skills, and lots more. Having this opportunity to contribute to the SWC community has had a huge influence on me in many ways, and I’m more than grateful to have had these experiences <3
I’m also a part of a Scratch-based rhythm game collab, Kokoro Beats. From finding the forum out of pure curiosity to now co-managing this project, the game’s been through a lot of changes. Team members come and go, new problems arise, and so effective communication became a really important tool to keep everything running smoothly. It's been really wonderful seeing all the progress being made, and I know the team can accomplish great things in the near future ^^
Outside of scratch, I joined a programme back in grade 4 which taught me essential leadership skills such as teamwork, initiative, and taking responsibility. The programme really helped me conquer my fears of public speaking and taught me to believe in myself. I also met a few friends along the way, though unfortunately we lost contact shortly afterwards. I mean- we were only so young then. Still, it was a really meaningful experience that I don't think I’ll ever forget.

3. Cabin Preferences (428 words)
Dearest hosts, other potential leaders, swc-ers and more, Yume presents her newest cabin idea…
A SWC time machine, capsule, portal, or, well, any time travelling device! I honestly love the idea of bringing back past memories absolutely anywhere, like the swclassic dailies and memorial weeklies, and you can probably also tell by the amount of references I put in my apps, hehe. It's… a lot. The basic rundown of this, is that the cabin’s main studio will function as the ‘central’, or in other words, the time travelling station of sorts. Each leader’s word count group will be themed around a specific SWC session one that means something special to them, and its theme. Those are where- or rather, when the campers can travel to. I think this is a great way for all of us to relive our favorite sessions, as well as let newer members of the community, especially, experience the ones they couldn't before, plus possibly add a twist of our own…? ; )) Sci-fi was the first to come to mind for this concept, but I honestly think having the magical touch from Fantasy would be cool too, so I’d love both equally ^^
Another idea for Fantasy could be an alchemist and/or alchemy-themed cabin, although I think it’ll probably fit better into Gothic or Steampunk.
Back in my Constellations leader app, my original idea for fairy tales was to take all these classic stories and rewrite them to fit in the modern world. Even now, I still hold on to that idea of a modern or futuristic Fairy Tales, and I would love to lead the cabin a second time to make that come true.
And no, I have not given up on my hopes and dreams of a SWSekai cabin >: D For this reason, another preference would be Fan-fi. The WCGs can be the different SEKAIs, and the storyline can follow through all the places in the game as well- I’m sure it’d be a lot of fun, considering we do have quite a few PJSK fans amongst SWC, hehe. Removing the PJSK element and making a rhythm game-based cabin would be cool too, but that’ll probably belong to Sci-fi instead.

Last but certainly not least, TCTWNW! I’ve always loved and appreciated the idea of a cabin separate from the rankings, but I wouldn't really want to lead it. I just don't think it's for me, since I love cabin wars and all the rivalries throughout the session.

“The mangoes are gone!” Everyone gasped in shock at the news, including Yume. How in the world did their three hundred and fourteen crates of mangoes just disappear into thin air? To make matters worse, the letter sorters reported that some of the letters that were scheduled to be delivered for the day were gone before they could even get sorted. With that, panic and chaos broke out through the terminal.
We have to get to the bottom of this, Yume thought as she scanned the crowd to find Yu. “Yu, we should investigate what’s going on here,” she suggested.
“What? Obviously not! Are you being serious?” She led Yume to a quieter place in the terminal, away from the relaxing room. “you can’t just leave the terminal hanging like that, you know. people are already in panic, you don’t want it to worsen, right?”
“if they’re already worried, there’s no reason we should drag them into this,” she protested, “the best way is if we go alone. Besides, nat and silky will still be here, they’ll calm everyone down and the terminal will run as usual again.” Yume did have a point, and from what Yu’s been told, nat and silky are amazing leaders of their respective groups.

Just after Yume left to tell the other two leaders what was going on, I spotted a letter tucked behind a counter from the corner of my eye. What was it doing here? I thought, confused, shouldn’t the letters be sent to the sorting room after they’ve been registered? What shocked me the most, however, was the name the letter was addressed to. “Yume wouldn’t mind, right?” I asked myself, “Besides, it’s addressed to me anyways,” so I opened the letter and read.

Dear Yu,
Hello again! How have you been, and how’s the future doing? All questions aside though, I sent this letter just wanting to make sure you’ll be here for cabin wars- I know it’s your favorite part about SWC, and I wouldn’t want you to miss it for anything. As you probably know by now, my letters are usually much longer than this, but work in the terminal is really quite busy, so I don't have much time. The first cabin wars, which are also letter rushes in the terminal, are on March 9th, so be sure to set your time machine to sometime before then. If you'd like to help out at the reception desk- definitely much appreciated, since we’re getting a lot more than usual these few days, just tell me once you get here. I'll make sure to get you prepared for it, so don’t worry!

So the letter never got delivered, I realized. if it had, I would have set the date much earlier. Partially my fault for forgetting there was SWC in March though. Even still, Yume kept her promise- she didn’t have to arrange me for a full makeover if I were to continue hiding in her room during sessions. After all, the community knows about me now, plus my hair, with added mango yellow highlights, is now curled and worn in a ponytail. I put the letter in my pocket for safekeeping- I'll find a better place to put it later.

Yume made her way back to where Yu was, and the two began the search. Upon their visit to the bird enclosure, a dove, Divela, agreed to help them on the mission. The trio split up and searched around the terminal for clues. Yume looked around the crates that once held the glorious mangoes. Surely the culprit would have left some clues behind? She felt her pocket for the key. It wasn’t there. Panicking, she retraced her steps. at the corner of a beanbag, she spotted a glinting object. “My key!” She hurried to get it, but before she could reach her hand out to grab it, a familiar-looking turtle took it by its mouth and quickly hurried off. Without a moment of hesitation, Yume took off after the turtle, who was somehow running- very impressive for a turtle.
“Yume?” Yu saw someone rush past her, calling out Gurtle’s name, and she joined in the chase.
Gurtle, however, did not stop. The key in his mouth, he ran outside the terminal and only kept going. Tired as they were, Yume, Yu, and Divela followed. finally, Gurtle stopped in front of a large contraption- the mango machine. “No, no, no, not the mango machine,” Yu muttered, worried. The turtle stepped onto the time machine.

5 - Time + Dedication (145 words)
If I get selected for (co)leader, I will dedicate at least 2-3 hours to SWC per day. This is usually comprised of time after I get home and finish schoolwork, during lunch times, plus the occasional check-ins throughout the day (it’s hard to resist SWC when it’s ongoing, I’m sure you know that! :,D). I still do have screen time controls, which means I have to go offline anywhere around 9-10 p.m. EST every night, depending on the situation. Weekends are a little more complicated, as my family is full of spontaneous planners and I can never predict when we’ll go out… but it won’t be for every single day, of course. But after all, life > SWC always <3 (are you sure it isn’t life = swc? /hj) (I’ll probably stay up- just a bit- if the session does get super intense, hehe. ;D)

6 - Time Management (246 words)
Time management is probably one of the most challenging things I’ve had to do, for an amount of reasons. Most of the time, I put too much effort onto a project because I want it to be the best I can, that I lose track of time and end up almost missing deadlines. This is still something that I’m constantly trying to improve on… :,) From all my past experiences, I do think I’ve gotten more efficient over time. One thing I found helped me a lot was to make a list of all the tasks I need to complete, and when they’re due. This helps me better envision the deadlines and which ones to prioritize.
Unfortunately, we don’t live in a utopian world where procrastination potatoes don’t exist… and that often leads to a pileup of tasks, stressing us out even more than we should. At times where I just can’t avoid it, the best way to get through it is to split up the work, assign each task a specific time slot, and get it done within then. The quality might not be as great as if I had a broader time frame, but at that point, getting the job done within the time given is the most important. Of course, this also applies to SWC activities, but as always, life > SWC. It couldn’t hurt to speedrun a few dailies, and perhaps a weekly or two, if time is sufficient (or rather, not sufficient), right…?

7 - Collaboration (257 words)
Starting with weaknesses: I’m a bit indecisive at times, which is why I usually finalise decisions with the others I’m working with. I get hesitant to share my ideas and opinions that I don’t think are good enough because of the worry that they’re indeed not good enough. What I’ve learned is that even if an idea doesn’t seem polished at first, putting it out there for your teammates to pitch in can help you get to something that everyone can agree on.
When it comes to strengths, I try my very best to understand and take everyone’s opinions and ideas into account before making a decision, so that we can come up with a solution that works for all of us. I’m a big believer when it comes to collaborations working better if everyone has that mutual understanding with each other- not necessarily as in ‘Hey, let’s just work with people we know’. Sometimes in school projects, when the other group members just don’t do anything, I always feel the need to finish everything myself. Although that’s fine on the surface as ‘taking initiative’, that really isn’t the meaning of a group project. Getting everyone together is also important, so I often try to make conversations as natural as possible to get everyone engaged, and hopefully, create lasting bonds with each other. It’s hard, but if someone’s willing to take that first step, whether it’s starting a conversation, or supporting a newly established collaboration, it can start a chain reaction that leads to a lot more.

“Well, no critiques until after the deadline, Yume- you might as well just do it.” Alright, alright, I suppose that's our best solution. W-Wait- I wasn’t there for the session- when did Mango Radio become a thing…? Anyways, it’s probably too late to ask now, so I’ll take it as a yes. For now.
The first, is acceptance. According to the group project I worked on during grade 6, acceptance is, quoted from past Yume’s writing: “Acceptance means that you will accept who you are and not lie to yourself that you didn't do it. Hello, and welcome to Yume’s (high pressure washing machine) leader app! It's been quite a long journey through all my apps- like, it's my fifth time applying already(?!) :00 Anyways, let's not waste any more time (since- uhh- the app is already time-themed and has probably enough on that,) and head into the answers!
Hello there! I'm Yume, EST/EDT dweller who of course, created this app! I’m also something sort of an avid writer and SWC-er, aspiring singer, amateur artist and graphic designer, song rewriter (cough- quite experienced in that one :,D), songwriter, Project SEKAI player and addict, longtime fan of the Aikatsu! franchise, musical enthusiast, somewhat certified rhythm game addict, currently a co-manager of a Scratch rhythm game collab, and fantasizes as Wonderlands x Showtime’s sixth member, canon according to a few. Whew- don't think I missed anything this time, right?
I’ve been writing for… pretty much as long as I can remember. When I was younger, I loved to write my own songs, poems, and scripts (, though clearly the quality is a concern :,0), and I think that's probably what got me into writing in the first place. I was introduced to story and diary writing later on, and was immediately hooked into those worlds as well. Though, when I first started, I pretty much wrote about the same things every time. Same genre, same types of characters, because I had little to no knowledge on other genres entirely. SWC changed that by introducing genres of writing I would have never learned at school at the time, and making every writing process more fun. (Yes, including essays, past Yume-) My current favourite genres haven't really changed from the past sessions- Fantastopian (fantasy + dystopian) and epistolary, as well as fairy tale rewrites.
Of course, as mentioned before, I do have other interests. If I’m not sitting at my usual spot with my laptop on the kitchen counter, you can probably find me in my room, where I could be in my closet recording a song cover, perhaps randomly dancing to my favourite songs, or lying on the bed with my diary and writing about the happenings of the day. Other times, you’ll find me grinding songs on different rhythm games, mainly Project SEKAI, especially when I’m trying to tier for my favorite events. I might also be charting on Rhythm Plus due to the fact that a lot of songs I’d love to be in a game isn’t actually in one… :0
“Woah, okay, Yume- that's a lot.” Well… that's because that's all me. Part of the life that’s hidden from the rest of the world, but one that I find comfort and reassurance in. I know I’m not alone. That's honestly one of the best parts of SWC, and why I enjoy every session so much. I wanted to encapsulate all of that into one leader app- everything that’s happened to get me where I am now, and all the memories I’ve made along this seemingly dreamlike journey. So, I thought it'd be a great way to end this question off with a thank you. To everyone who’s supported me, to those who've made me who I am today, to all of you out there, keeping our dreams alive. <33

Yume SWC backstory time! iei-! Trust me, I’m not going to talk about the whole ‘stumbling across the main cabin and had no idea what is was but was interested’ story all over again, I’m sure you’ve already seen that one. If not, just- uhh- look for my old intros or SWC promo projects. That’ll tell you everything you need to know on that topic. ; )
Anyways! I’ve been a camper for three sessions- March ‘21 with (the) Mythology (Chickumbers), March ‘23 working at the Poetry Coffeehouse, and Jul ‘23 as part of the Dystopian Spy Society. In November ‘23, I led my first-ever cabin, Fairy Tales, also known as the Fairy Tale Academy. March ‘24 brought Epistolary in as a new cabin with the Epistolary Letter Terminal, and in my most recent session- July ‘24, co-hosting the Script Podcast! That’ll be six sessions total, making this next one my seventh… has it really been that long?! I really can’t stress this enough- leading a cabin is super amazing. Getting to (co)lead three cabins in the past has taught me so much about leadership, taking responsibility, decision-making skills, and lots more. Having this opportunity to contribute to the SWC community has had a huge influence on me in many ways, and I’m more than grateful to have had these experiences <3
I’m also a part of a Scratch-based rhythm game collab, Kokoro Beats. From finding the forum out of pure curiosity to now co-managing this project, the game’s been through a lot of changes. Team members come and go, new problems arise, and so effective communication became a really important tool to keep everything running smoothly. It's been really wonderful seeing all the progress being made, and I know the team can accomplish great things in the near future ^^
Outside of scratch, I joined a programme back in grade 4 which taught me essential leadership skills such as teamwork, initiative, and taking responsibility. The programme really helped me conquer my fears of public speaking and taught me to believe in myself. I also met a few friends along the way, though unfortunately we lost contact shortly afterwards. I mean- we were only so young then. Still, it was a really meaningful experience that I don't think I’ll ever forget.

3. Cabin Preferences (428 words)
Dearest hosts, other potential leaders, swc-ers and more, Yume presents her newest cabin idea…
A SWC time machine, capsule, portal, or, well, any time travelling device! I honestly love the idea of bringing back past memories absolutely anywhere, like the swclassic dailies and memorial weeklies, and you can probably also tell by the amount of references I put in my apps, hehe. It's… a lot. The basic rundown of this, is that the cabin’s main studio will function as the ‘central’, or in other words, the time travelling station of sorts. Each leader’s word count group will be themed around a specific SWC session one that means something special to them, and its theme. Those are where- or rather, when the campers can travel to. I think this is a great way for all of us to relive our favorite sessions, as well as let newer members of the community, especially, experience the ones they couldn't before, plus possibly add a twist of our own…? ; )) Sci-fi was the first to come to mind for this concept, but I honestly think having the magical touch from Fantasy would be cool too, so I’d love both equally ^^
Another idea for Fantasy could be an alchemist and/or alchemy-themed cabin, although I think it’ll probably fit better into Gothic or Steampunk.
Back in my Constellations leader app, my original idea for fairy tales was to take all these classic stories and rewrite them to fit in the modern world. Even now, I still hold on to that idea of a modern or futuristic Fairy Tales, and I would love to lead the cabin a second time to make that come true.
And no, I have not given up on my hopes and dreams of a SWSekai cabin >: D For this reason, another preference would be Fan-fi. The WCGs can be the different SEKAIs, and the storyline can follow through all the places in the game as well- I’m sure it’d be a lot of fun, considering we do have quite a few PJSK fans amongst SWC, hehe. Removing the PJSK element and making a rhythm game-based cabin would be cool too, but that’ll probably belong to Sci-fi instead.

“The mangoes are gone!” Everyone gasped in shock at the news, including Yume. How in the world did their three hundred and fourteen crates of mangoes just disappear into thin air? To make matters worse, the letter sorters reported that some of the letters that were scheduled to be delivered for the day were gone before they could even get sorted. With that, panic and chaos broke out through the terminal.
We have to get to the bottom of this, Yume thought as she scanned the crowd to find Yu. “Yu, we should investigate what’s going on here,” she suggested.
“What? Obviously not! Are you being serious?” She led Yume to a quieter place in the terminal, away from the relaxing room. “you can’t just leave the terminal hanging like that, you know. people are already in panic, you don’t want it to worsen, right?”
“if they’re already worried, there’s no reason we should drag them into this,” she protested, “the best way is if we go alone. Besides, nat and silky will still be here, they’ll calm everyone down and the terminal will run as usual again.” Yume did have a point, and from what Yu’s been told, nat and silky are amazing leaders of their respective groups.

Just after Yume left to tell the other two leaders what was going on, I spotted a letter tucked behind a counter from the corner of my eye. What was it doing here? I thought, confused, shouldn’t the letters be sent to the sorting room after they’ve been registered? What shocked me the most, however, was the name the letter was addressed to. “Yume wouldn’t mind, right?” I asked myself, “Besides, it’s addressed to me anyways,” so I opened the letter and read.

Dear Yu,
Hello again! How have you been, and how’s the future doing? All questions aside though, I sent this letter just wanting to make sure you’ll be here for cabin wars- I know it’s your favorite part about SWC, and I wouldn’t want you to miss it for anything. As you probably know by now, my letters are usually much longer than this, but work in the terminal is really quite busy, so I don't have much time. The first cabin wars, which are also letter rushes in the terminal, are on March 9th, so be sure to set your time machine to sometime before then. If you'd like to help out at the reception desk- definitely much appreciated, since we’re getting a lot more than usual these few days, just tell me once you get here. I'll make sure to get you prepared for it, so don’t worry!

So the letter never got delivered, I realized. if it had, I would have set the date much earlier. Partially my fault for forgetting there was SWC in March though. Even still, Yume kept her promise- she didn’t have to arrange me for a full makeover if I were to continue hiding in her room during sessions. After all, the community knows about me now, plus my hair, with added mango yellow highlights, is now curled and worn in a ponytail. I put the letter in my pocket for safekeeping- I'll find a better place to put it later.

Yume made her way back to where Yu was, and the two began the search. Upon their visit to the bird enclosure, a dove, Divela, agreed to help them on the mission. The trio split up and searched around the terminal for clues. Yume looked around the crates that once held the glorious mangoes. Surely the culprit would have left some clues behind? She felt her pocket for the key. It wasn’t there. Panicking, she retraced her steps. at the corner of a beanbag, she spotted a glinting object. “My key!” She hurried to get it, but before she could reach her hand out to grab it, a familiar-looking turtle took it by its mouth and quickly hurried off. Without a moment of hesitation, Yume took off after the turtle, who was somehow running- very impressive for a turtle.
“Yume?” Yu saw someone rush past her, calling out Gurtle’s name, and she joined in the chase.
Gurtle, however, did not stop. The key in his mouth, he ran outside the terminal and only kept going. Tired as they were, Yume, Yu, and Divela followed. finally, Gurtle stopped in front of a large contraption- the mango machine. “No, no, no, not the mango machine,” Yu muttered, worried. The turtle stepped onto the time machine.

5 - Time + Dedication (145 words)
If I get selected for (co)leader, I will dedicate at least 2-3 hours to SWC per day. This is usually comprised of time after I get home and finish schoolwork, during lunch times, plus the occasional check-ins throughout the day (it’s hard to resist SWC when it’s ongoing, I’m sure you know that! :,D). I still do have screen time controls, which means I have to go offline anywhere around 9-10 p.m. EST every night, depending on the situation. Weekends are a little more complicated, as my family is full of spontaneous planners and I can never predict when we’ll go out… but it won’t be for every single day, of course. But after all, life > SWC always <3 (are you sure it isn’t life = swc? /hj) (I’ll probably stay up- just a bit- if the session does get super intense, hehe. ;D)

6 - Time Management (246 words)
Time management is probably one of the most challenging things I’ve had to do, for an amount of reasons. Most of the time, I put too much effort onto a project because I want it to be the best I can, that I lose track of time and end up almost missing deadlines. This is still something that I’m constantly trying to improve on… :,) From all my past experiences, I do think I’ve gotten more efficient over time. One thing I found helped me a lot was to make a list of all the tasks I need to complete, and when they’re due. This helps me better envision the deadlines and which ones to prioritize.
Unfortunately, we don’t live in a utopian world where procrastination potatoes don’t exist… and that often leads to a pileup of tasks, stressing us out even more than we should. At times where I just can’t avoid it, the best way to get through it is to split up the work, assign each task a specific time slot, and get it done within then. The quality might not be as great as if I had a broader time frame, but at that point, getting the job done within the time given is the most important. Of course, this also applies to SWC activities, but as always, life > SWC. It couldn’t hurt to speedrun a few dailies, and perhaps a weekly or two, if time is sufficient (or rather, not sufficient), right…?

7 - Collaboration (257 words)
Starting with weaknesses: I’m a bit indecisive at times, which is why I usually finalise decisions with the others I’m working with. I get hesitant to share my ideas and opinions that I don’t think are good enough because of the worry that they’re indeed not good enough. What I’ve learned is that even if an idea doesn’t seem polished at first, putting it out there for your teammates to pitch in can help you get to something that everyone can agree on.
When it comes to strengths, I try my very best to understand and take everyone’s opinions and ideas into account before making a decision, so that we can come up with a solution that works for all of us. I’m a big believer when it comes to collaborations working better if everyone has that mutual understanding with each other- not necessarily as in ‘Hey, let’s just work with people we know’. Sometimes in school projects, when the other group members just don’t do anything, I always feel the need to finish everything myself. Although that’s fine on the surface as ‘taking initiative’, that really isn’t the meaning of a group project. Getting everyone together is also important, so I often try to make conversations as natural as possible to get everyone engaged, and hopefully, create lasting bonds with each other. It’s hard, but if someone’s willing to take that first step, whether it’s starting a conversation, or supporting a newly established collaboration, it can start a chain reaction that leads to a lot more.

I know you collect keys, and recently I’ve come across parts of our multiverse that has three new keys, all currently with different versions of you.

Well, some are with past versions of you- ‘past Yume’, as you like to call, and some- well, are in another parallel dimension within the multiverse. Ever heard of the butterfly effect?
Yume :
Oh, like that weekly part! Yeah, I have.
Yu :
Basically, a certain trigger in our dimension might not have happened in another, and so this other dimension, though I couldn't dig deep enough to find out what it is, it's gonna be different for sure.

I hope their world hasn't turned into a dystopian apocalypse…
Yu :
Dystopian apocalypse is… a little far. I don't think- well, I don't hope so. At all.

So, how do we get these keys?

Well, I’ll have to use ‘technology from the future’, aka the mango machine, to get you to all these different phases and dimensions!

I know you collect keys, and recently I’ve come across parts of our multiverse that has three new keys, all currently with different versions of you.
Yume :
*confused* Different versions… of me…? Like, which kind…?
Yu :
Well, some are with past versions of you- ‘past Yume’, as you like to call, and some- well, are in another parallel dimension within the multiverse. Ever heard of the butterfly effect?
Yume :
Oh, like that weekly part! Yeah, I have.
Yu :
Basically, a certain trigger in our dimension might not have happened in another, and so this other dimension, though I couldn't dig deep enough to find out what it is, it's gonna be different for sure.
Yume :
I hope their world hasn't turned into a dystopian apocalypse…
Yu :
Dystopian apocalypse is… a little far. I don't think- well, I don't hope so. At all.
Yume :
So, how do we get these keys?
Yu :
Well, I’ll have to use ‘technology from the future’, aka the mango machine, to get you to all these different phases and dimensions!
Yume :
You make it sound so simple- don't you need a ton of mangoes to run that thing once?!

Well, as you see… I now have a year’s supply of mangoes. My aunt owns a mango farm, and they've managed to get their hands on the sonic speed fertilizer-

Hi Project SEKAI enthusiasts! Welcome to the first episode of Project Wonder: The Sekai Podcast! I’m your host, Yume, and I’m so excited to bring you this new series (I don’t think I’ve made a proper series in a while, haha)! In this podcast, we’ll be covering everything PJSK, from the most recent events, stories, and more. That being said, there /will/ be spoilers from time to time, so if you’re not updated with all the unit storylines (though, there’s so much that honestly I don’t think anyone would read them all- you deserve all the taiyaki in the world if you did xD <3), …just keep an eye out for spoiler warnings.
Today’s just pretty much a welcome episode, to let you guys see how this is going to run, essentially. (Yes, that means Yume voice!! :00) I can’t guarantee a set schedule for when episodes are released, I’m aiming for weekly releases but we’ll see how that goes hehe. Since this podcast is for all of you, I want to be able to talk about things that you’d like to hear about in PJSK! Please feel free to, and always, comment with what you want to see in the podcast! It could be song or event reviews, opinions, etc, event tiering and/or grinding tips and more. Ask about anything, as long as it is PJSK-related and Scratch appropriate. I could even sing snippets of songs on here, I’d love to actually! So if you want me to, tell me what song- …I’m indecisive (lol)
Yes, I know this episode is really short, but that’s because I don’t have any actual content yet :,D For now though, I’m looking for all of your PJSK headcanons, opinions, and confessions, so send them in the studio linked in the description! (that is just so I keep them a mystery until I record for the episode to get the ultimate yume reaction- and also for organization purposes!) Those might just be a part of episodes in the near future :0
Maybe it’s also worth mentioning here that episodes might come in a lot more frequent during SWC when I can ramble about SWSekai things, since scripts count for words! Or maybe you’ll just get a really long episode…

Alright, so! First of all, SEKAI updates! Yes, as mentioned last time, I’m late to saying all of this since JP 4th anni passed over a week ago. But that means that by the time this episode is posted, most of the 4th anniversary campaign songs will be available on the JP server! The songs to be added for 4th anni are:

I know, I know. All of us global, TW, and KR server players are just itching to play these new charts. Like- PJSK added Mesmerizer!! For real!! I know there’s been like a million fanmade charts of it- probably one of the most anticipated songs to be added, alongside QUEEN, which ended up being an Emu, Nene, and MEIKO cover. After re-listening, I honestly don’t hate MEIKO in it… But I still wish it was just the two WxS girls </3 Hopefully we’ll get alts? Okay, but still, we’re getting a ton of super fun songs this year! JPsekai-ers should probably be familiar with these- 3rd anni was a year ago for you, after all.

I’m literally so hyped for Sukina koto dake de ii desu?! Like- AAH- FINALLY!!! And we’re getting the pork song too lol. That’s a lot of new and exciting songs to look forward to playing!
3rd anni brings a huge UI update to PJSK, which means a ton of stuff to download- I waited like a whole hour for mine :,) There are pretty mixed opinions on all the new designs, I personally hate the new gacha animation because for the life of us sekai players- why did you extend it even more?? There /is/ a skip so that’s a great thing. Annnyways. If you have any takes on the 3rd anni update, do leave them in the studio linked in the description! I’ll come to them in a future episode.
One very notable change is the life system, since now even after losing all your health, you can continue playing the song, or press the pause button yourself and exit back to the main screen. The achievement for paying to continue 5 times has then been changed to ‘finishing a song with 0 health’ of the same amount of times as it will take you to earn the first achievement. This shouldn’t be a big concern for most of us, as I don’t know anyone who would pay 50 crystals just to get an achievement that probably… does nothing. I honestly really like the sleeker design of the rhythm game interface, and the new notes are a really exciting addition as well.
And finally, what everyone- probably everyone- wants to hear about: gambling!! Like- not actual gambling, but all of the anniversary gachas. I tried to post this episode as early as possible so that the gachas are still up by the time you get this information. Colorful Festival gachas have a doubled 4* rate, which is now 6% to get a 4* card. And because this is an anniversary gacha, it is also a Dream Pick gacha, where the rate-up cards are the two colorfest cards, four event limited cards, and two cards of your choice that can be from past colorfests or permanent banners, NOT including past limited banners. There /is/ a paid gacha banner to select limited cards, but that’s paid, so… that probably counts as gambling. Save for colorfests- seriously!! 6% rate up is A LOT. That means you’re 2x as likely to get a 4*, and you can even choose two that you want to rate up alongside the banner characters. Unless you have another banner that you want the full set of, or it’s a limited- Pull for colorfest!! I’m pretty sure the 3rd anni unit leader banner this year is pretty popular, but oh. my. Do I even have to get /started/ on the 4th anni one?!!? THEY PUT RUI, NENE, AND AIRI ON THE SAME BANNER!! Sega wants me dead, I literally cannot pull until next year. Save up in advance if you’re like me and have horrible luck- maybe I’ll do an episode on all my insanely unlucky pulling experiences. If you want that, that is, since it’ll probably just be me rambling!

Hello hello, welcome to the time machine! Oh wait- riight, this is just the main cabin. But anyways! Welcome to attempt number three, if I remember right, of the Yume 1k Intro!! Last session I don’t think I ever finished, and although it would be really helpful in just stealing parts from that, I always prefer to start fresh with my intros every session, because, well, I do change every session- we all grow- :,) COUGH- I should actually stop stalling and get to it ahaha- Strap in your seatbelts, go grab yourself a mango hot chocolate and let’s get going!

Hello there! My name is Yume, or in entirety, Furihata Yume, but just call me Yume ^^ I live in the timezone of EST/EDT (PST <<< /lh), and I go by the pronouns she/her! My MBTI is INFJ, since the last time I took the test, at least- I do have quite a few INFP traits though, it kind of depends on the day. Hmm, what other identifiers are there? Ah- I don’t really correspond to a HP house in particular, I find that I don’t fit in either one of them, but the closest you’d get is probably Ravenclaw + Hufflepuff. According to a few, I’m also Wonderlands x Showtime’s sixth member :> In my spare time, I enjoy writing (cough i mean of course- why would i be here anyways xD), singing (i make covers! i’m also in choir! choir >>>), songwriting (except i can’t compose lol), graphic design (canva and pixrl e are my best friends ahaha, but i long for the day i have adobe illustrator and canva pro :0 my dream career is to be a graphic designer ^^), and rhythm games (pjsk being my favorite hehe, if that wasn’t obvious enough already based on my profile lol.) I enjoy rhythm games in general, so I’m really glad to be able to co-manage a rhythm game collab, Kokoro Beats, here on scratch :00 I also have an unhealthy amount of pjsk brainrot as you might find out throughout the session- or maybe you already know :,D
Alright, next! How did I find out about SWC? The answer… profile stalking xD It is said that little yume when she first started scratch followed a ton or random people(, though it was not to the extent of things she didn’t know about- hopefully-) and somehow came across the SWC main cabin of March 2020! During the time, past yume was more than confused over what to do, and tried to ask about it. One entire year later- yes, One Entire Year later, she signed up for the March 2021 session. Mythology was honestly so epic, at least from what I remember- until it all got taken over by CABIN DESTRUCTION, aka THE MYTH CHICKUMBERS WHO BEAT THE POEMEGRANTES!! That, unfortunately, is what happens when you’re a clueless new SWC-er who was barely active because HK workloads are… concerning ;o; Still, the community was super welcoming, and I felt right at home.
After that, I took an almost full year break from SWC and pretty much Scratch in general as the stress from academics really started to pile up. It wasn’t until I took the longest flight of my lifetime (AND COULDN’T FALL ASLEEP ON THAT FLIGHT NO MATTER WHAT SOB) and landed in a new environment, which means: new school, new people. And let me tell you, making friends has just never been a Yume thing :,)) It- doesn’t come to me easily, so… I’m not sure why exactly, but I came back to Scratch. Either way, it was a good call, as then I somehow came across the March ‘23 signups. At that moment, I had absolutely no idea how much fun that session was going to be. From being a camper in the wondrous Poetry Coffeehouse, to Horror Rebellion’s absolutely chaotic arsango attacks (I wrote them flammango poems!), it was honestly one of the best times I’ve ever had in a long while. That’s the beauty of SWC, like- an entire month of fun, motivation, mangoes, chaos, writing, and making memories. That session inspired me to make my first ever leader app, The Awakening.
Leader apps- arguably one of the best parts about SWC, at least in my opinion. When I first started applying, my apps were quite simple- I did try to make them not the most generic themes I could come up with, but both The Awakening and Constellations didn’t specifically speak to me /that/ much, and then Sekai was a bit of an upgrade from those. I definitely had fun making each and every one of them, but- look, I can talk about leader apps for hours upon hours if given the chance. The following one was something that I really, truly loved- the Key to our Dreams. That app- pretty much sums up everything- yes, each and every little thing, and if not, well over 90%, of what we just talked about. I really wanted an app that represented every part of Yume and her SWC journey, and that’s what I did (, that thing is borderline a 3k intro daily jahdksajd). As you can probably tell, I’m a really nostalgic and memory-based person, which is why I love the yumeverse-centered leader apps, and can talk about my SWC history for… OVER 500 WORDS. WHAT- WHEN- HOW HAS IT BEEN SO MUCH ALREADY??
Travelling back to the present and away from the rabbit hole of past nostalgia and memory recollection- I don’t know how to end a 1k intro- help- someone-

Dear Future Yume,
I hope this letter finds you well. Welcome back to another letter- I’m pretty sure this is camp tradition at this point to have the letter to the future as a second daily, but I’m in no way complaining, since as you definitely already know, these letters are absolutely everything for me.
Wait, before we head on- I just realised that I haven’t read the letter I sent myself from last year- I sent it to sometime in October, and was really anxious to read it since the day of my birthday, but I guess cabin planning and schoolwork really washed that out of my brain ;o; Well! That means we have something to look forward to- I think you deserve to read it more than me. I’ll wait until the end of camp, when you read this letter, and then go check your inbox then.
Today was great- I had the morning volunteer session like last week, in which I really enjoyed, actually- especially the little icebreaker part for us volunteers before the actual session. Because of today’s game of a scavenger hunt, we ended up having a small conversation of what toys we grew up with. This one guy went “Oh, you play rhythm games?”, and then he mentioned how an arcade that has a lot of them opened up just a few weeks ago, a little away from where we live. Funnily enough, it’s actually called Yume Arcade :0 So yeah, maybe if it’s still open a few years from now… make that a note to take a visit?
This month I’m taking on the one and only Nanowrimo- 50k words of a novel- except it’s not a novel and just my main word goal :,D So, naturally, I hope to achieve that goal, in the sense that maybe not just by one word. And as usual, SWC isn’t just about writing- it’s the memories you make along the way, so make sure to take some time to do that as well- give yourself something to remember for this session that makes it special. <3
And now, last but certainly not least, past Yume has some questions for you~ But first, I hope you had a great session, and hopefully, achieved what I promised above. (I also hope that your current pfp is the sci-fi one :,D) Did you meet anyone new this session? What's your favorite piece among the writing you’ve done this entire session? Full of eager, Yume stepped into the IKEA warehouse. “Ah, this place never gets boring…” The smell of fresh meat and plant balls, mashed potatoes, amongst the other delicacies the place offered, was always welcoming. Seriously, you can just never get enough of this furniture store and the wonders it holds. “Try not to get lost,” Yume thought to herself, stifling giggles, “and don’t try to fit in those washing machines either, they’re not like the Wonder Studio ones. Oh, and of course, don’t rob them of their pencils and measuring tape!”
She glanced down at her watch. It was just before noon, and she had, luckily, eaten a bit of breakfast that day. Food can wait- the furniture displays were calling. With that, she ventured into the depths of what we know as… furniture displays. Ah, isn’t it just so nice, when your feet are exhausted from all that walking, to just slump down on one of those couches or mattresses? The brown-haired girl looked left and right at the showrooms. “It must be nice to live in one of these,” she whispered to nobody, “Maybe one day.” As she made her way through the assortments of colorful furniture and appliances, the thoughts, worries, and anticipation of the future only continued to build up. Was the furniture trying to tell her something, or was she just overthinking? “I’m sure it’s nothing much,” came the words of reassurance, “Probably just the endless nostalgia from this place, hehe.”
And she was not wrong. A few more steps in, and she found herself in the realm of stuffed animals. Familiar faces greeted her, seemingly saying hello. “Skog! Blåhaj!” (Yume, you’re 15.) Our beloved SWC bear mascot, and another fan favorite, IKEA’s very own shark. They’ve always been there, at every IKEA, to greet everyone who comes by the local furniture warehouses, all over the world. Perhaps they, were why so many people felt that belonging, Yume thought, just the tingling sensation of knowing that you’ll see your favorite stuffed animals again. And it worked. She arrived home that day with a very happy stomach and the everlasting warmth from the plushies, drifting off to sleep. It must have been a nice dream she had that night, but it probably couldn’t compare to what she’d find the next morning. Was it just hallucination, or did the strip of purple in her hair look a little more blue-tinted than usual?

Full of eager, Yume stepped into the IKEA warehouse. “Ah, this place never gets boring…” The smell of fresh meat and plant balls, mashed potatoes, amongst the other delicacies the place offered, was always welcoming. Seriously, you can just never get enough of this furniture store and the wonders it holds. “Try not to get lost,” Yume thought to herself, stifling giggles, “and don’t try to fit in those washing machines either, they’re not like the Wonder Studio ones. Oh, and of course, don’t rob them of their pencils and measuring tape!”
She glanced down at her watch. It was just before noon, and she had, luckily, eaten a bit of breakfast that day. Food can wait- the furniture displays were calling. With that, she ventured into the depths of what we know as… furniture displays. Ah, isn’t it just so nice, when your feet are exhausted from all that walking, to just slump down on one of those couches or mattresses? The brown-haired girl looked left and right at the showrooms. “It must be nice to live in one of these,” she whispered to nobody, “Maybe one day.” As she made her way through the assortments of colorful furniture and appliances, the thoughts, worries, and anticipation of the future only continued to build up. Was the furniture trying to tell her something, or was she just overthinking? “I’m sure it’s nothing much,” came the words of reassurance, “Probably just the endless nostalgia from this place, hehe.”
And she was not wrong. A few more steps in, and she found herself in the realm of stuffed animals. Familiar faces greeted her, seemingly saying hello. “Skog! Blåhaj!” (Yume, you’re 15.) Our beloved SWC bear mascot, and another fan favorite, IKEA’s very own shark. They’ve always been there, at every IKEA, to greet everyone who comes by the local furniture warehouses, all over the world. Perhaps they, were why so many people felt that belonging, Yume thought, just the tingling sensation of knowing that you’ll see your favorite stuffed animals again. And it worked. She arrived home that day with a very happy stomach and the everlasting warmth from the plushies, drifting off to sleep. It must have been a nice dream she had that night, but it probably couldn’t compare to what she’d find the next morning. Was it just hallucination, or did the strip of purple in her hair look a little more blue-tinted than usual?

i had no idea what i’d run into- or rather, who i’d run into. as it would come as a surprise, the day before the new year, just as i was going to start preparations for the day- well, preparations being like- i don’t know, just the usual end of year things? preparing your new years resolutions, writing a million words on that while youc an although it’s literally way past november (hey, who says you can’t write after swc? it’s always a problem of procrastination before, but afterwards is always fine). but look- i really didn’t expect to see the mascots again. not after the whole incident with the time machine, the swc time machine of science fiction to be exact, i have no idea, absolutely no idea, how the mascots just somehow keep reappearing everywhere. it’s almost like- it’s almost like they have a mind of their own, i’d say, which is ironic since they were forma=lated from the hosts’ minds, if im not mistaken. so. smalls. the ibex. and autocorrect just corrected smarrls name i’m offend

that was what an unfamiliar poster said as i stumbled across the billboard in the main cabin. the poster looked… odd, seemingly our of place when you look around ans spot the colorful flyers of the different cabins this session, ranging in absolutely anything you could possibly imagine, from anti-monter clubs to literal killer roibots that, are rumored to be able to chop off your head, so probably stay away from those if you could. but that doesn’t explain the wordinjg on here, doesn’t it? no, it doesn’t. five hosts. the five hosts, also known as, robin, moss, luna, alana, and rockie, who are the tyrants of what we know as scratch writing camp. they oversee everything- they’re eyes above the skies, as said by a certain sessions past that they were all astrological beings, for that session in specific, though i can’t quite name which one it is right now. still. destroying them. who could have left such a message? swc would enrupt into chaos without the hosts and ghosts that lead us, who select the leaders, who oversee the process of setting up each and every session and the happenings within it as well. balrog? gurtle? we’ll have no idea, will we. they’ve known to be quite destructive to the main cabin, and disruptionf the session as a whole, but could they really want to rebel against the hosts? or.., is this all just

“alright, what’s going on here?” this looks wrong, she sighed, looking back at the seemingly five-year old toddler. clearly- no, there’s absolutely no way that was the truth, because no one in the history of swc would let such a person take the reins for a day, not to mention the session and whatever was to come next. “i know i’m dreaming, please wake up, i don’t want to be trapped here for thirty days with-”
burp. a burp. what was that-? who just- “was that a-” burp. a burp. another burp. what- when, how?? what was going on? “am i in the wrong place? clearly this feels more like the bi-fi dreamscape or the surreal symposium more than… the main cabin.
a voice boomed from another room, “okay, settle in, we’re about to start the warring day, i’m sure we’re all very hyped up and ready to bring out our arson mangoes and frying pans and start the midnight utc day off with maximum chaos, but we’re currently undergoing a technical difficulty, so please stand by!!” there came the voices. of the hosts, the ones who managed the camp and saw over everything that happened. clearly, no, definitely, something was wrong. and that little kid wearing the most mango yellow tuxedo she’s ever seen, was probably to blame for it.
“right? am i not right? something just- everything just doesn’t feel right about this place, okay? nothing looks right, we’re halfway through the session, and uhh-” oh great. unreliable narrators and now unreliable characters too- it wasn’t thirty days to begin with. “CAN SOMEONE JUST- TELL ME WHAT’S GOING ON??” whoops- too loud. the cabin went into silence. you could hear a pin, or a pen, drop. or a mangoriffic words 3000, for that case. or maybe not that last one, since that pen’s probably a little heavy, having that whole transmitter thing that can call an entire truckload of mangoes to your cabin. pretty handy, if it weren’t for the technical issues they were facing at this point. …burp. there is came again. where was it… wait. another burp. campers were slowly making their way through the- no, they’re quickening up, they’re looking for where it could possibly have came from. where though, indeed? “so i was right.” of course you were. with one final ‘burp’, the toddler rolled over, and with a poof of mango yellow sparkles…

Kanade sighed. This was not what she had envisioned when she was blindly forced into, well, swapping roles with her housekeeper, Honami, for the day. Unfortunately, both Ichika and Ena had simultaneously agreed it’d be a great idea, and since Mafuyu didn’t have anything against it (she’s currently living with Kanade, ever since world link happened. Ah, right, world link is soon on global-), it was decided.
Since Kanade didn’t have access to Leo/need’s sekai, and she wasn’t a student at Miya Girls either, Honami offered to help them book a practice room, just for that day. “Have fun!” She waved goodbye to her friends and housekeeper, and proceeded to head towards Kanade’s house. Only… she wasn’t there for the cleaning, cooking, and all- that would be left for Kanade to do when she got back from band practice. All Honami had to do now was… what does Kanade do all day? Ah, right, composing songs for 25-ji, Nightcord de. But- “I don’t know how to do that…”
“Ah, Mochizuki-san. Welcome back.”
Mafuyu was already sitting at her desk, working on the group’s next release. “Here, I got water for you.”
“Oh- thank you,” Honami replied, picking up the cup. Should she ask Mafuyu for help? The two have interacted before, it’s not that awkward, right?
“Alright, Kanade-san, welcome to practice!” Ichika introduced Kanade to the rest of Leo/need.
“Oh…about that… thank you for letting me join you. I’ll try my best.”
Shiho smiled. “That’s the spirit. It’ll only be for today, but we still have to give it out all, okay? I’ve heard that you have a musical background as well, Kanade.”
“Y-yes, I compose for 25-ji.”

“I-I’m back,” A very tired-looking Kanade stepped into the house. “M-my hands- they hurt-”
“Welcome home,” came the chorus of Mafuyu and Honami.
“I’ll get you some ointment, it should help with your sore hands,” Mafuyu got up from where she was seated and reached to grab the first aid box.
“Oh, thank you.” It dawned on Kanade that she still had to cook. Honami’s cooking was delectable, to say the least, but how long has it really been since she’s cooked for herself, not to mention anyone else? Mafuyu continued to apply the ointment onto Kanade’s hands, as Honami seemed to be struggling with note placements.
“Oh, I’m really bad at drawing, and I can’t do this well either…”
It wouldn’t hurt to help her out, right? Even if that defeats the purpose of the challenge, getting to learn something new is definitely worth it.
“Mochizuki-san, do you want me to teach you?”
“Eh-? B-but- this is your job, not mine!”
Kanade took a deep breath. “You’ve helped me out so much, cooking and cleaning for me out of your will, teaching me and my friends the art of candle-making, and even asking me to go to the bridal festa with you… I just thought I should repay you somehow.”
Honami blushed at the mention of such memories. They were good times, indeed. “Ah, in that case… that’d be really helpful-!” A faint smile had formed on Kanade’s face. Doing something you enjoy does that to you. She’s already taught Ichika before, so this isn’t new to her.
A smile, Mafuyu thought to herself, wondering. How would it really feel, to truly… smile?

i hope your arms aren;t broken dn your fingers ren’t tired. i really hope so. okay, look- i don’t know what past yume was thinking when she was literally like- okay let’s write 50000 words because why not? i know, right? absolutely out of my mind at that point, but then again, it’s nanowrimo. it’s like- i’ve been in swc since 2021, so like- i should really set my mind to it while i still have some time on my hands, right? so yeah, i decided to. so uhh- good luck! if you ever read this, write back telling me about your hand process, it doesn’t count if you’re only replying today, okay>? got that? yeah. do as mych dailies ad you can skhdsklhal i’m assuming the next time you come back to this might actually be word wars lol i have no idea if you’re gonna me mercing or whatever because my parents are like the most spontaneous planners ever, we’lre going have to see about that. anyways. hoea re you? i feel like maybe i should ask more questions, so that you’ll have more continent to write about. oh great, i son;t know what i’m typing at thi point- my spelling eros have not been as bad in lik-ever. i swear. this is like- i don;t know sob, i can’t type right aah- cough. more questions, right? do you uhh- how is civics? is the teacher as mean as all your classmates make it sound? how is japanese class? maybe you’v e learned some new phases? is rui 5 out yet, and if yes, does the song have two choruses, no more no less? i honestly could probably ramble for a full hour on the keyboard if it doesn’t, so i’m secretly hoping it comes out soon- cpdb was one of the later comms last round so i hope so, but then again saki6 is throwing me off a lot tbh i have no clue
