It’s ridiculous that Hazbin Hotel is banned on Scratch when there are PLENTY of other extremely inappropriate/violent shows/movies that are allowed on Scratch. Examples: Invincible, Deadpool, South Park.

The best example would be The Boys. INCREDIBLY graphic in terms of violent and inappropriate content.
Look, banning Hazbin Hotel makes sense, but only if you ban the other inappropriate stuff. Instead it just comes off as weird and dumb.
Follow your own rules that you set, Scratch.

And actually deal with this problem instead of closing this topic or brushing aside my argument.

According to 3.3 of the Official List of Rejected Suggestions, the Scratch Team bans certain franchises only if a lot of inappropriate projects of it were made and shared on Scratch.

That’s insane. There’s been plenty of violent projects made about Deadpool. Deadpool’s still allowed.

the scratch team removes any inappropriate content. similarly, they sometimes remove references to inappropriate content (even if the reference itself is fine)

im not a scratch team member, but my understanding is that if the content is niche enough (like the show you mentioned), references to the inappropriate content are inherently problematic. if the content is extremely well known, it’s likely okay to reference (such as Deadpool) as it’s hard to imagine people are unfamiliar with it. and if the content is so niche that the scratch team is unaware of it, references may slip through the cracks.

the scratch team reviews stuff on a case by case basis.
