That's me but Linkin Park
I've had four songs stuck in my head at once before, they were all Linkin Park songs
Idk what's wrong with me and why I can't branch out easily

EDIT: aaa I thought this was the ‘what songs are stuck in your head’ lol ignore me
I had a feeling this would happen someday…

I would have said britpop last year but now I would point you in the direction of more underground edm subgenres like bass line or donk

Anything that isn't made by actually toxic and problematic people is a good music taste

what about the phrase “pay attention to the art, not the artist”? (don't remember it word for word but it goes something like that)
Yes, but I wouldn't want to accidentally support somebody who had done horrible things
It would also already ruin the music if I know what that artist had done

What if a member of a group did something bad, can you still listen to the group? (the group itself hasn't done anything bad, its just one member)

How did the rest of the group react tho?
If they tried to defend them, then no, probably dont listen to them

Honestly, it's just your preference - there's no “good” music taste. I usually enjoy pop/pop rock, but I've been leaning more towards alternative/indie now. I have trouble sticking to one favorite singer though - I've gotten over a really good song in a day!

I don’t really mind if songs have them in, but I tend to keep them off my playlist in case my parents see because I don’t think they’d be too pleased.

Depends. A swear or two is fine as long as the swears are not THAT bad.

I have plenty of songs with the f bomb, maybe even multiple times
I don't like anything s3xval in music. but I do have a lot of very violent songs on my playlist, so curses aren't something I think about often. for my music, it just emphasizes the extreme-ness of the situation the song presents. I don't like it if it has a s3xval meaning ew

Music taste is subject to the person but I listen to stuff like video game-esque music and music such as alternative rock/indie music.

Arguably, a non mainstream taste in most cases ends up being deemed good music taste. Given some artists with recent popularity, I give a couple a exception.
