can you add a copy right button to projects?
can you add a copy right button to projects? on scratch you can't copyright a project but you can on other programming (that is public) for the scratcher they make the project then anther person make it and copyright it (but that's not the first) and they take the first down (for copyright resson) so scratch team please do it
note: this is explained to be a dupe on this post.

no. also what other programming language is public. scratch isn't public. you make stuff on scratch. but you share it on a platform. so what platform has copyright for programming things. (excluding github)

(#3)remixes exist for a reason, you're allowed to swap the character in a platformer for an oc or make the amount of points you get by clicking in a clicker game 2 instead of 1, if somebody uses the remix tool to steal youur project, report the remix as an exact copy and move on.no. also what other programming language is public. scratch isn't public. you make stuff on scratch. but you share it on a platform. so what platform has copyright for programming things. If you mean them embedding your game in their website, it's not gonna happen. Even if it does, they can't register “their” game as a trademark, because they got their embed from the Scratch website. You can't register something as a trademark unless it's yours. Besides, a registered trademark inside of Scratch–a registered trademark–would be pretty weird, and probably not legal.um my game can get stollen by anther person then they copyright their version and they take mine down (then i reshare it) and they take it down again and ban me from scratch i don't want it to happens so i want scratch projects to be copyrightable(#3)remixes exist for a reason, you're allowed to swap the character in a platformer for an oc or make the amount of points you get by clicking in a clicker game 2 instead of 1, if somebody uses the remix tool to steal youur project, report the remix as an exact copy and move on.no. also what other programming language is public. scratch isn't public. you make stuff on scratch. but you share it on a platform. so what platform has copyright for programming things. um…. people can remix work on scratch on all projects what about if there was an option if you have remixing on your project or not also put it with people who are not you seeing inside the editor of that project as the creators chooseIf you mean them embedding your game in their website, it's not gonna happen. It’s a community guideline in scratch to allow that ANY scratcher can see the code in your project, use it, remix it, or use the assets, once it is shared, as long as they credit you. If you see someone who used your code/art/other in their project without credit, report them.um…. people can remix work on scratch on all projects what about if there was an option if you have remixing on your project or not also put it with people who are not you seeing inside the editor of that project as the creators chooseIf you mean them embedding your game in their website, it's not gonna happen. Please stop arguing about remixing.
Remixing is allowed and that's it. Full stop.
I've heard the ST are working on an experiment to block unchanged remixes from being shared so you might just wait for that.

in fact one of the great things about scratch (in my opinion) is that you can easily edit code, ex. in chargedMD (something i made) it’s pretty easy to change the potential function because you don’t have to search through all the code for the potential function codeIt’s a community guideline in scratch to allow that ANY scratcher can see the code in your project, use it, remix it, or use the assets, once it is shared, as long as they credit you. No Support. It will limit creativity because the project is copyrighted and remixing will use their assets.

It looks like this is a duplicate topic of this one over here - which was rejected. See that topic for reasons.
