Scratch Age Rating

Am i the only one who thinks Scratch should make it so you can make an age rating for your game. I mean, it would work for horror games and stuff. And people would know if it's suitibal or younger or older kids. But
waitsecs

It also could be bad because someone could make a bad game but make the rating for Everyone. So Scratch could also check to see if the game has things that aren't for Everyone. I think it's good to be cautious. What do y'all think?

semi support also this should be moved to suggestions (reporting to be moved)
This could be good however i dont think this should be a way to make harrier games as people can lie about how old they are. However this could be good for if you want to see stuff that's maybe less complicated if you are younger/the opposite.

here before huge tolors quotes
sorry, this suggestion has been rejected by the scratch team in the past. scratch is supposed to be for all ages, and restrictions don't help their mission. please check the official list of rejected suggestions before posting a suggestion to scratch.

The Official List of Rejected Suggestions wrote:

7.2 A 13+ version of the Scratch website or age-restricted content

Scratch is designed for ages 8 to 16, but any content shared on the website must be appropriate for all ages. Dividing the community by making a separate, age-restricted website would not be helpful. Potential restrictions from entering the website (such as a warning, or requiring a parent to answer math equations) would not necessarily stop an underage child from entering the 13+ website.

This suggestion extends to age-restricting anything on Scratch, such as viewing specific projects or accessing specific Scratch features. As a general rule, Scratch is for all ages, and content shared on the Scratch website should be appropriate for all ages.

well having a rating itself and no age restrictions (example of a restriction: 5 year old trying to play 18+ game but cant because of restrictions,) is quite easy. just put it in the title.
As for having restrictions aswell and not just ratings, i am pretty sure everyone fakes their birthdays either way.
