How was "3FishChomp" imported into 1.0?

If you know some of the scratch lore, you'll know that there is a project called “3FishChomp” by the Sample Projects Team. But Fish Chomp PREDATES Scratch 1.0, and was made in Scratch “13Oct04” (sometimes known as scratch 0.2) which was released on 13 October 2004. 0.2 was the second ever version of scratch. Does anyone know how they shared their 0.2 project?https://www.google.com/search?q=scratch+fish+chomp&rlz=1C1JZAP_enGB928GB929&sxsrf=ALiCzsYiRm7xYN8yjof0kOEtjbV4hvrftA:1670451532658&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiovN_xxOj7AhXYgVwKHfG2B2QQ_AUoAXoECAIQAw&biw=1707&bih=817&dpr=1.5#imgrc=9INyrIlNixaFdM

Perhaps it was just opened in Scratch 1.0 and then shared from the 1.0 editor to the 1.0 website?

I would assume this sort of importing works the same way that you could import a 2.0 project into the 3.0 editor, for example.

The format might be incompatible with 1.0; for example I don't think you can open a Scratch11Oct03 project in 1.0.

Scratch's versions 1.0 to 3.0 have format .sb for Scratch 1.0 through 1.4, .sb2 for Scratch 2 and .sb3 for Scratch 3. The only way for “3FishChomp” not to load properly would be not being in .sb format. Scratch Wiki doesn't say anything about file extension of 2004 builds but I would assume it was using .sb. If this is the case, you would need just to open the project file in 1.0 version and upload it further.

Scratch 0.x projects are stored in .scratch files (although most .scratch files are still compatible with 1.0-1.4, ones from before the March 2004 version cannot be opened in the March 2004 version or later (including 1.0-1.4))

Yea, you can only open .scratch files if those are from before a certain update in 2004, otherwise you can't upload them in later 0.x versions, 1.x, or 2.0.

Using Wayback Machine, I've found this old Scratch webpage from early 2007: click here. You can see that at the time you could download the 1.0 version. Scroll a bit down and you will find Fish Chomp with .scratch extension! It was probably simply uploaded to Scratch in its original format since 1.0 build could open .scratch files.
