In that case, wouldn't it make more sense to put text based games into a project or studio? Furthermore, it seems that a lot of the “games” on the TBG involve some sort of spammy action (“post as much as you can”, “dont let this off the front page”, “count in roman numerals”)

by offtopic i meant a topic unrelated to scratch, oops-
there could be a rule for those sorts of “games” to not be allowed, and yes people could ignore the rule but it'd be enforced anyway and those posts would be dustbinned. plus, the forums arent as known as other parts of scratch so its likely that not many people will make those posts once they know the rule.

That'd ban most of the games from what I can tell (atleast in the TBG section, probably not the RPG section)
There was like 1 post that wasn't requiring spammy action on the entire frontpage of like 20 or something posts
