Be able to move the pivot point in vector.

It would be like how you would do it in other programs, such as Flipaclip. Below are some (horrifically drawn) images that help describe what I mean.

This could be useful for animators, asset makers, and game designers by reducing the amount of time needed to rotate an object. For example, if someone wanted to, lets say make an animation of a stapler, this could be helpful because it lets you rotate an object in the vector editor in a way that prevents choppiness (as in parts rotating in wacky ways).

I've had this idea before.
Although you can make a workaround using trigonometry, it's ridiculously complicated.
Not to say that it wouldn't be complicated if it was added to scratch.

This looks like a fine suggestion for when you need it. For example, I have lightning for an icon, and moving the pivot points would make it slightly easier to edit it.

BTW, do not bump unless it's been 24 hours and your suggestion/question is not on the front page.

Semi-support.
It might need to be something more complicated than dragging it - I can see myself off centering my costume on accident and messing up the project.

could you provide examples of when this could be used?

also for future reference, you can only bump once per day

when making models for games and animations, it can help make rotating parts better (though more so in animation)
